*** in the Air stance , May look stupid to some mean to others

I heard it called "stink bug stance" recently on Road Kill.

Is there a law?
This conversation from American Graffiti came to mind when someone explained "cheater bars".

Where you goin', Milner?
I'm goin' home, sir.
Where've you been?
We were-
At the movies, sir.
You didn't happen to be around 12th and "G" about 8:30 tonight, did you?
No. No, sir. We were at the movies, like I said.
I stopped you because the light on your license plate's out.
I'm gonna have to cite you for that.
And the front end of this thing you're drivin'...
looks a little low.
No, sir. It's 12 1/2 inches, regulation size.
It's been checked several times. You can check it if you like, sir.

I remember as a teenager in the mid/late 70's. We all liked our *** ends up in the air with L60 or M50 tires poking out of the rear fenderwells. The local Police would actually measure the distance from pavement to bottom of bumper with a tape measure. 22" got you a ticket. Some kind of law about "altered suspensions" and safety in the event of a rear end collision. Pissed me off that they did not apply this to the 4x4 farm trucks in our area!

My 63 Maxi back in 1976 when my father owned it.

Same car now

Very cool that your car has so much race history... and family history! And so well documented, man that's so cool.

Mine isn't exactly level or low....not to 70's... What do y'all think???FB_IMG_1430761786188.jpgFB_IMG_1430761715983.jpg

The only thing that should be *** up is hot chick in a porno!!

I like a little Calif/LA rake, not a nose bleed...

To me, the *** in the air look is the only way our cars look "right". All of my cars will have 14" wheels front, 15" back, and air shocks to get it up in the air. I'm also using SS springs that help with that also. :)
