...as bad as things are today, 20 years from now this will be the good ol' days- doesn't bode well for the future (and they can have my guns when they pry my cold dead fingers grom around them!)

boy I miss the days of gasoline being under a dollar per gallon! It has now become my third highest expense every month!

yea me too. its not my 3rd highest but it's up there. my bar bill is still higher than fuel bill. if there is any cutting guess what, i will drive less. i just had to.:icon_super:

i spend $500.00 per week on fuel for business. takes a real bite out of the profits. i use to spend $180.00 a week and thought that sucked.
where have all the good times gone.
i hate to admit it but we've seen the last of the good ol' days
20 years from now, i hate to see how bad it gets here.
its gonna suck for my kids and grandkids for sure.

This is why I'm pretty certain I'll be switching to E-85 this winter!

Natural gas, plentiful and cheap.

And how will this help? Don't know about the E85 but the E10 sure screws up a lot of small engines around my place. I've had to do carb work on both my trail bikes, pressure washer, both weed eaters and generator!

I looked into doing a conversion and while it isn't too expensive to convert a vehicle over, the cost of setting up an at home fueling station is several thousand. There are very few nat gas filling stations (3 to be exact) in the Houston area, the closest one to me is 20 miles away. Not going to do a 40 mile round trip for a load of gas. By the time I found all that was needed to do all of this, the price tag was around 9k! I don't drive that much anymore and 9k worth of crap E10 will last me for a good while.

And btw, if you do the math on what gas cost in the 60's compared to now, is it really all that more expensive?

Gas or Gasoline?
Gasoline is WAY more expensive...
You might want to do a little research on the E-85 conversion and testimonial from other racers here at FBBO.
I started a thread in Racers hang out just for this... :)
