Linkage setup

[1967 satellite]

1967 plymouth satellite, 383 4V automatic. Can any one verify if this linkage setup is correct. I had to change the throttle cable, and carburetor stud as what was on the car was a totally different and incorrect setup. I just want to make sure it's correct. Thanks in advance.

Looks close. There is a washer and clip missing on that empty groove.

Did you have to do any adjusting on the kickdown linkage? Just mentioning it so it is also adjusted properly. ruffcut

Just a small adjustment

The oem nut that retains the stud is deeper than the one you are using. When used in conjunction with the clip and washer it removes excess lateral movement of the kickdown arm.

Thats my next step. I just found out I will need a throttle cable mounting bracket for a 383-4V automatic. Right now I only have the retaining clip and nut. Not sure where I can get one. The hunt starts later today.
