hey Stu....that red charger...the back window......did you put a plug in that or is that a daytona without the wing and nose????

its a 69 charger 500 , they were the for runner of the daytona
they only made 392 of them

this one below is mine , its a very rust free car from califonia but no drive train or fender tag or build sheet . Does have the correct XX29 vin and all the correct body numbers .

Whatever the preference of the owner, I think all the original wheels offered are real nice!

Mag 500 with mopar center caps. On the 66 to 67 body style the finned alloy charger rims on the 68 to 70 body's and ralleys on the 71 to 73 the cop dog dish on 74 and up

Deep Dish

I'm partial to the deep dish wheel covers nobody voted for.....

I love and get many complements on my black steelies with dog dish caps. The president of one local car club put it best. "when you see that classic style it's either a taxi a cop car or race car, I love that look".

dog dish

I know these aren't correct ,I just haven't put dodge ones on yet

Even though I have all 5 original wheels and restored them with repro F70-15 Firestone Wide Ovals installed, I just love the "day 2" look of Cragars! These are 7" front and 8" rear.

I live in my time-warp of the 60's - 70's, so my preference is basically anything but stock. Back then in the garage I worked, we used to swap wheels all the time, chucking steel wheels by the gazillions. You didn't want to be caught dead with them on your car - that was the first thing you did. They were the taxi and cop-car wheels. The popular ones were Cragar SS, TT, Keystone Klassics, Motor Spyder, Centerlines, Ansens, chrome-reverse with Moons, etc, etc.

how about some 17's that look retro and "like" a magnum500 from a distance... :)
I like them all honestly, if its on an old mopar im looking...plain and simple.
I think its what attitude each individual wants for there car. for instance this is my car below...pretty much stock 273, good cruiser about town etc... now im building a big block 383 stroker for it..pump gas 500+hp...when that go's in the attitude changes and most likely I will go with black steelies in rear and torque thrust in front...or cragar SS's etc... to go with the "muscle" or heart of the car. long story short...if its a mopar, its your car...do what makes you feel tickled inside when you get in it and drive it... :)

that´s what I have on my Ride 225/60/15 front and 245/60/15 rear

Voted for the Magnums...because my wheels look like the magnums...

But they are from Cragar ...love them !

Greetings Juergen

I think I've only seen the Alum Slots mentioned once here, that's my favorite, followed by Keystone Klassics and then most any stock Mopar rim, steel, rallye, magnums, etc

Eventually I'll replace my current Keystones with a set.

I like the Mag 500's, but don't like how far the center caps stick out.... Thinking of making custom caps. I also like the Torque Thrusts.
