WOW!!!!!!!!!!! That actually cleaned up pretty good. I've always been curious about those grease markings.

Damn...looks pretty solid. Not looking like any kind of momentous resurrection or anything. You got a good deal out of Roger.

The surface rust will be easy to take care of .. got some supposed good stuff coming.. the 1/4 skins I'm nervous about..LOL

Thats a good solid RR there 99, I hope you have a ball getting it where you want it! Going to be a sweet ride when its finished..

The door hinges dont even sag...LOL its night and day compared to my last b-body... It wont take long to get it ready for paint. Already have the one floor piece on the way. Working on the fenders and deciding if I will replace or pactch that rear brace and rear bumper filler. Other than those areas its ready to go. It really is very very solid. Just the quarters flapping in the breeze but the inners and drop downs/extensions are fine.

It's the year of the F8 Roadrunner !!

I wouldn't be too worried about that. Lay them on, draw your cut line and go to town. If you're worried about butt welding them, flange tool the old along the cut line then weld on the new. It will give you a little more play. Cover up the flange offset on the backside with seam sealer to keep moisture/grease/dirt/dust out or weld it as well.

Nice looking project. That will be a piece of cake compared to some of the restorations going on here.

Got one fender on the way ! $180 no rust couple small dings + $42 from a Uship hauler for delivery...LOL
Its a 120 mile round trip and 3 hrs for me and $28 in gas so $42 was worth it to me.

Should I remove all the old seams sealer and re-seal eveything?

Most likely gonna need to address some outer wheelhouse rust also.Wish my gtx would of been that solid to start with.

That's a great project! You are doing your part in bringing those 69 RR's back to life.
