My 68 Charger R/T "Bullitt" re-creation

Gauges

The gauges all seem to be working, love how they look when lit up at night.

Thanks for the compliment on my work on the Charger. Not bad for an amateur..lol. Got a ways to go yet. I am sure tempted, especially if the Mustang is highland green. Did see one for sale a while back. I have also seen one on the road, would like to meet the driver.

Keep up all the work like you have now and all will come out great ! good luck .

that motor should be turquise f you are trying to duplicate the bullitt car

Shop work

I took my Charger to a local repair shop for some heavy duty work that I did not want to do by crawling under with just jack stands, floor jack and ramps. Such as new shocks, transmission work, driveshaft loop The owner of the shop, a GM guy did a heck of a job, with the parts I supplied etc. He has 2 or 3 old Camaro's but respects other brands and says my Mopar is very similiar to his cars. He let me back into the shop to watch the progress, when done took it for test drive and guarenteed his work. I know some "purists" would freak at a brand "X" mechanic touching their car, but this guy knows his stuff. Would not hesitate for any future work.

Looking good to! I have to admit, i have been curious about this a couple times.. I thought maybe the gas prices and economy may have put a halt on it for awhile, good to see this updated. Thanks.

Looks great. Good Auto Techs are are Good Auto Techs no matter what they work on. Just a matter of understanding the engineering.

Rain

With all this wind and rain, trying to keep her covered and dry is a losing battle......

You must be getting some kind of storm out there! If the wind is that strong nothing short of cement blocks will hold a tarp or plastic down.. Been there, done that. Good luck..

Choke

Did not do much except replace the choke cable. The previous owner used an Edelbrock 1405 with manual choke. So I decided to replace it with a repo '71 Hemi Choke switch. At least it looks like it belongs..lol.
