my 70 barn find

i was just going off by the original drum brakes that were on it. plus i drove it last year with the drums front an rear, and i made up my mind i wanted discs all around so i can stop this good, little did i know i was gonna nuts like i did with all the other parts. REMEMBER khan your gonna have a hemi in that thing an ya gotta stop. lol....as for money part of it. i am numb i quit keeping track, just going with it. lol thanks for all the encouragement an support guys. usarr
Haha, that's the best approach if you ask me "quit keeping track" after all if your building your dream car who cares how much it cost as long as you keep your priorities straight. Love the break setup and the axle housing sure looks nice now. Out of all the builds going on this is one of my favorites, you've got some sweet plans that should make for one cool ride.

im debating wheels, i thought it wouldnt be to bad to decide. but i was wrong. i think and i mean THINK i got it narrowed down. its hard to know how the wheels are gonna look on your car. im kinda picky when it comes to this. what do you guys think...im really liking wheel no 2...

Sorry USA but #1 is by far my favorite, I looked at those for mine and really like that look.

I think I'd like #'s 1 & 4 better if they had a matte finish to give that deep dish look closer to what's in the rendering you've been using. Out of those I would have to say #2 is my favorite but again I'm not that big on chrome I would prefer a gunmetal or a matte (just my personal taste)

Here's a pic of a Charger in the shop beside mine that has rims somewhat similar to your #2 (17's and 18's staggered)

I hate to go against a "staff member" lol, but the first one would be my pick with the wheels your showing!!! :)

BUT... KEYSTONE.jpg and kind of new age Keystone KEY stone new age.jpg

I was talking about all the work he's done if you are talking about me. I'd lean toward the black and chrome Hurst Dazzler's if I were putting AM wheels on and I might if I don't go w/ Magnum 500's or leave the cop wheels

Doc Ron haha, that's gotta be one scary hospital. Hope your family gets to feeling better soon.

Maaaaaaan even with the temporary rollers your car is sitting MEAN!! So excited for you man, I imagine a plastic surgeon probably couldn't even get the smile off your face lol

And lmao @ Will, I think we've all lost a bit of our sanity trying to decide on wheels. That being said, time to fuel the fire and throw in another idea lol maybe something more like the Kinesis wheels on Hammer?

I like the "number 1" choice too though!

And thank you much!!!

holy crap you guys are killing me...LMAO...where do i start, KINESIS are a $1000 a wheel, they are out, even know they are very cool, did keystones on my camaro and dont know how they would look on my car. i also like no. 1 but they are over $500 a wheel. not ruling them out but i found these also in the mix. i got time because so far no one wants my 15" wheels an tires. so far 17x7 245/45/17 front and 18x9 or 9.5 275/40/18 out back..

Given the choice, IMO, i'd go #2 followed closely by #3. I know when it comes time for me to choose my wheels, it's going to be Cragar SS or Alum slots, or Keystones, or Magnum 500, or Rallye's, or painted steel wheels. Haven't narrowed it down yet.

American Racing makes a Salt Flat Special like #1 that is around $350-$390 ea. I would just advise looking at pics of cars with the wheels already on them because there were several that I liked until I saw them on a car. I went with wheelsforless, they came highly recommended by the manufacture of mine and have good prices. Good luck
