my 70 barn find

That's faster then i have had mine this summer, Sue and Gabby like to be in it to and im not brave enough for that, or wiser then i think... ill get back to ya lol :)

Thats pretty fast on the street....any more and its slap the cuffs on instead of the alternative. I have had mine up to 118 as the tops so far but on stock suspension on back country roads....thats about all the more I dare.

Glad you are enjoying it!

I only had mine at 70 with stock suspension. I kept taking it up gradually. But that's it. I'm getting to old for that fast. Back in my younger years I had a modified zx9r I hit 190mph on that. PURE ADRENALINE RUSH RIGHT THERE.

Haven't been around here much so catching up but in answer to your header leak question I had an issue too and was put onto Remflex gaskets... nice and thick Graphite compound fixed me up in a hurry!

Thanks goon remflex on order. Will let ya know when I get them on. Thanks again.

Boy I'm starting to feel like a pussy around here, I've only had mine up to 90 mph but mostly because of the 3:55s. I'm sure whenever I finally get my overdrive or get my 3:23s swapped in that might change but to be honest I really just like going from 0-80 really fast.

Its all in the alteration an hotchkis suspension this thing is awesome to drive. You barely have to touch the wheel it goes straight as a arrow an handles perfect.

i am having so much fun with this thing. dont get me wrong i would still love to have a 426 elephant, but this 6.1 rocks baby. is it bad that i am already looking at superchargers...lol thanks to speedy on his post of his supercharger...lol. here are a few pics of the tunnel that i forgot to post he did a pretty nice job. i got an aftermarket hurst shifter with 40% reduction so the shifts are quick. as of now we are at 1100 miles an counting. still waiting on the header gaskets. its still in crude form, but we slightly hurried a lil bit so i could get it on the road to drive, so when the day comes to rear it apart alot changes are gonna be made. i gotz to go drive it again :beavisnbutthead:

thanks

gas pedal is drive by wire for the 6.1 hemi fuel injection, and the brake an clutch is wilwood race pedals the brakes have duel masters and clutch has one. i also have the wilwood distribution valve for the brakes. i have pics of the setup in earlier posts. masters are on top of pedals under dash.

Dammit your making me jealous USA!!! I ran into a guy who I became friends with at a local car show that had a 69 Charger painted rattlesnake green (Viper color), had a T56 and are you ready.............A 572 HEMI. You talk about sweet, that motor is nearly touching the shock absorber and looks wicked in there plus the green is Bitchin. Love hearing that your having so much fun and wish I was close enough to go for a spin in it with you.
