my 70 barn find

Couldn't find a Kinesis but found these by Intro. route66_flagstaff-150x150.jpgcovered_kidneybean-150x150.jpgconcave_vintage-150x150.jpg

Looks like an outstanding quality build and snakeskin green from a Viper would be a great color. I described the heavy metalflake green color you original posted with the guy painting my car and his comment was "Does he realize it would look like a rolling bass boat?" Snakeskin green is more of a current update on the Sublime from the 70's. Unique, but very fitting for the car.

Those wheels look like 8 inch wheels with a 1 inch backspace! They look great in the artist rendering, but not sure how they would fit.

i got some free time an headed to the shop and got the rest of the front end on. gonna try to drop the motor in next time and get ready to cut the floor for the tranny. :beavisnbutthead:

Looking good USARoadRunner ! ! ! How sweet it is ! ! !

You going to drop the engine in from the top or attach it to the AlterKtion and install it from the bottom ? ?

Love watching you get this AlterKtion put in to your car . . . maybe . . . someday . . . I'll be able to post the same pictures ! ! ! ( smile )

gonna drop it in from the top this time. when its time for the body work we will drop the whole front end as one an raise the motor an trans from underneath once painted. we got some cool ideas in store. dont know for sure how he is gonna do it but there will be just the motor in the bay. no wiper motor, no master cylinder, no batt. etc. cant wait. i do know the pedals that he ordered has the brake and clutch fluid is mounted on top of the pedals. it should turn out pretty cool. thanks again c67b

"Nice" but I've got to ask "what's that beauty sitting next to your motor"?

 Yes I sure do like that sort of thing.

its not mine, thats the only reason i said that. its one of my friends its going in his 70 CUDA. he has a 70RR and a few other american muscle cars.

its just a 426 HEMI if you like that kinda thing...just saying

WOW USARR . . . Notice you got it included in the pic "just" to tease us a bit . . . right 747Mopar ? ? ?

I've gotta say . . .

IT WORKED ! ! ! (SMILE )

That seems to work USARR . . . and at the end of all this, you'll know for sure if it's "easier" to install from the TOP or from the BOTTOM ! ! !

Or at least which one of the two that your prefer . . .

I'm going to be very curious what you've all got in store for this build . . . it's looking REALLY NICE ! ! !

I like your suspension set-up. Was it fairly easy to install?

it was perfect, it went together and the fitment was perfect. i was impressed. i hope it handles and drives as good then i will be 110% happy. i would recommend it if you want to let go an extra $4k.

Duuuuude im drooling over the front end setup haha looking great and glad to hear the test fit is going well!

And saw someone mention Kinesis wheels so I just thought I'd add that I looked into them for the Roadrunner I might do after my Charger, and they're expensive. As in "1k per wheel" expensive lol. Gorgeous wheels though

good lord, dont know if i would ever do this again. alot of work and running into a few problems, but we are slowly gaining. firewall welded up and set the motor in. interior gutted and thats about it.........usarr

That Hemi sure looks good in there, looks like about the same fit as a BB. The front end kit looks sweet and should make for a good handling car. Congrats on some good progress.

woo-woo got the headers in and they fit like a glove. next my body guy gonna work his skills on cutting the floor out with the plasma cutter and getting the trans in and fab up a trans mount.:beavisnbutthead:
