My 71 Road Runner 340/727 F7

Well, they just put my car on the rotisserie to install the body stiffening kit and weld in the 4 link components. The engine should be finished with the startup and breakin in a couple weeks. Then they can test fit the engine and trans combo to finalize the tranny tunnel position. Then it’s down to right rear quarter panel work. Getting closer to media blasting. The DotorDiff
S-60 has arrived and will be fab’ed up for the 4 link and sent out for powder coat.

My back seat is finished and it came out real good. The front bucket frames had some miner cracks that needed welding. The powder coating is now finished and should be reupholstered in a couple weeks. I’m ordering the Digital Dash instruments today. Only a few components left to purchase. I should have my dash pad back from Just Dash in a couple months and will start putting the dash back together then.

Front spindles
New driveshaft for Tremec upgrade
Brakes & brake components
Vintage Air kit
Wheels & Tires
New Windshield
Misc. items

Not sure that's how I'd recommend doing that. USCT says have the car weight sitting on the wheels or suspension attachment points, they do flex oddly when supported elsewhere.

i'd bought a 71 roadrunner 383 727 auto on the column bench seat car , build date was in 70 . a friend had to have for a father son project . he sold it when the son's interests went else where .

My buckets are finished and came out great!

All that’s left to do on the interior is paint the kick panels, seat backs and trim my auto console into a manual console plus color match.

On a side note..

They weren't supposed to paint the engine block cuz I was going to paint it hemi orange. The engine was in boxes when they going it and it was previously blue. I have no clue what it came out of.

Delivered the motor to the shop Saturday. They should be test fitting the engine/trans to locate the tunnel by the end of the week. (fingers crossed)

The shop posted a short instagram and my cars on the lift in the background a couple times.

The dash arrived back from Just Dashes today.

I’m pretty happy with the results! It did take 4 months to get thru the back log to completion though.

Dash pad looks awesome!

My son ordered some renderings from Misha at the shop. I think these are 18’s but I’m putting on 17’s.

Is that paint code F7?
No the car is originaly gy8 gold. It was painted green in late 90's. They just scuffed the original paint and and painted the green on top. Not sure what the green paint code is.
