My charger restoration dream car

Good luck on your operation, hope you and your brother have a speedy recovery! It's nice to know there are still selfless people around willing to do this for a loved one. You'll be back at your car before you know it!

Everything went well with my kidney transplant. Both my brother and I are doing great. I am so grateful for the doctors and modern technology. I am so thankful for my brother and everyone's support. I am out of the hospital but I can not go home yet. I have to stay close to the hospital for continuous blood draws and tests. My immune system is shut down so that I don't reject the new kidney, so I have to be careful of what I do and where I go. I have been playing my guitar, reading, and watching movies but I am getting restless and want to work on my car at home. I came up with a small fix, I bought a plastic model charger and am making a model of my car. I haven't built a plastic model for some time. I have been enjoying it. I will post a picture when I have finished.

Thank you, we are doing great. the most frustrating part is that I am feeling good and feel like doing things but because of my immune system being shut down I still have to still be some what quarantined and stay away from all possible infections. I will be back soon.

Glad to hear all went well, you'll be back at it before you know it, best to let things take their course and not rush it! That's a neat idea with the model, you still get your car building fix without even leaving the house!

My wife also keeps reminding me to be patient and let tings take their course.

I noticed, I'll remember that.

I finished my little charger. Now I'm hoping that they let me go home soon. The challenging part in making this model is the anti-rejection meds that I take cause me to have the shakes and I can't hold my hands still.

I was able to return home:hello2: with some restrictions. It sure feels great to be back in Southern Utah, out of the snow and cold. I have been able to work some on my car. I got to work with some of the parts that I had and have not been able to get to them yet. I welded on the lower control arm stiffeners that I had ordered from PST. I had already sand blasted and cleaned them. I also started to clean the upper control arms and get them ready for sand blasting.
