My new upgrades to my Hemi

check out the custom crossram bellcrank and linkage of the offset carbs. custom throttle hold down bracket placement as well.

While it was getting rebuilt I built this insane 727 torqueflite.
All A & A internals with a free nuetral Griner valvebody and transbrake even though i dont use a transbrake but will try it out next year with NENDRA and at Beaver Springs. I might as well put more of a hurting on these guys.lol

As far as carnage, I should have gone with my gut from the beginning. Then I could have been racing all year and not for 3 races with the Hemi.
Bring your Hemi to a company that knows and works on Hemis and not to some backyard Shadytree mechanic.

lesson learned the hard way.
smoking down the track and blowby just really sucks.Plus when your cylinders have a shape of a football and you have no ring seal, and a vacuum pump doesnt help,you know your in deep ****.
A whole rebuild had to be redone and only after 7 passes.Out of the box indy heads doesnt cut it either.

It wasn't me who built the motor. It smoked the last 3 builds and everytime the old engine builder said it was valve seals.
Well it wasn't.it was poor ring seal with 65% leakage of 4 cylinders,45% on 2 cylinders, and 40% on the last 2 cylinders.
Found out the motor was not bored and honed with torque plate and the cylinders were egg or football shaped, rings were worn and cylinders were smooth as a babys behind.
7 total passes on the motor and got 3 good passes before smoke was pouring out the headers.Right around the 660 foot mark.
Vacuum pump didnt help either.No ring seal.

THANKS especially when every part in this motor is top shelf no expense spared.MGP aluminum rods, cam motion roller cam =, diamond gas ported pistons, crower roller pushrod oiling lifters, bushed lifter bores, indy roller rockers,1200 hp capable crank,jesel belt drive and msd crank trigger,so when you see smoke coming out of your collectors at the 1/8th mile on pass after pass, your toes curl with frustration and anxiety.
 
yes i have reef tanks. one 500 gallon reef and the other is a 90 gallon reef. also its my business as well.
hopefully ill get down to Atco by the end of the year or next year.

Gary does build some good engines! Put a real intake on it and see what it will do....
