New "garage" in the works

Getting closer. Carpeting has mostly gone in & kitchen appliances are almost all in. I need the electrician to come back & the builder to wrap up a things. Getting the builder to finish up what he needs to get done is the hardest part. :BangHead:

Ok, guess it's time to start a support group for those of us with "Garage envy".
Admitting is the first step of recovery, so I'll take the plunge.

My name is Wacko, and I'm envious of RC's new garage (with house attached).

I also admit to having Lift envy.

Ok ok, i also admit to having Hellcat envy.
And Hemi envy.
I'm doomed :(

'Ski' you could sleep on a cot in garage? Connecticut ain't Calif.!

Carpet!!! That means it's about done.. great to hear.

Well knowing RC& Kiwi that last repartee(?) may have meant something else,LOL. Jeez I love using big words sometimes!

It's come a long way from what it once was....

To give the exterior one final touch, stone veneer will be going on the perimeter of the foundation & around the bases for the deck columns in a couple of weeks.

Looks really sweet RC, good luck with the final touches and the move in.
Didn't realize you had neighbors that close, hope they like cars:eek:

It certainly looks like you have increased the value of the neighborhood RC....congrats on the completion.
The house looks great, and I bet a load of members here are jealous of what you have achieved......I am a little envious myself. :D
A far cry from the horsey stable...you've done an amazing restoration/transformation job there.

Thank you. It's been a long haul from when I first set foot on the property back in September 2015. I'm hoping to get an occupancy permit within the next couple of weeks.

That's Awesome. Hope you get in real soon. Look forward to seeing the cars in the garage.

Better-half HAS to be chomping at the bit!!

Hell of a job!!!! Better you than me, couldn't imagine taking the project of remodeling a barn.
I GC'ed my house in 1983 those 100 hour work weeks were a killer. Had a scare 10 years ago Connecticut DOT was planning to redo I-84 near my house. They were going to move the exit ramp and my house would be taken along with two others. They changed there plans and nobody lost a house. They did construction at night, five years of off and on work at night 200 feet behind my house. Trucks and loaders with backup beepers 11 pm until 7 am many nights!!
