New "garage" in the works

Getting closer. The electrician finished up today & inspections are now in the works. Submit & I are emptying out the closets and basement and bringing boxes of crap over with each trip (unfortunately). We emptied out most of the hall closet last night & I got her to throw out all those awful scented candles that were hidden for years behind other useless crap. Once all that box-able stuff is done, we'll start moving furniture.

Ah cmon RC some of those candles are pretty good!

Glad to see you are finally moving in, the place looks great.

Scented candles and heavy perfumes piss me off in general, funny how gas and most chemicals don't bother me much.

The perfect scented candles for you man cave.

And if you like them both: gas.jpg

Starting to move stuff in. The last inspection is supposed to be done today. The masons were at the place last week to do their things. Now this completes & compliments the "old barn" look.....

Or just simply "The RC" at the end of the drive.

Just think, if you ever decide to sell one of your cars, you can advertise it as a "barn find"!

I hate scented candles, whether they're lit or not.

My ex knew that scented anything would choke me up. I swear she would do it on purpose. One time she had this big, white, lilac scented candle and I repeatedly told her to get rid of it. Well she eventually hid it and I kept smelling it. I found it and threw it down in the woods. Then she asked me if I knew where it was. I said I thought you got rid of it?

Hell, I even washed my own clothes so she didn't use scented fabric softener or dryer sheets.

This is one of the many reasons she's my ex!

When I was in my teens and early 20's I liked a couple of different scented candles but that went away as I got older. Had to fight my wife and kids not to burn them and finally forbade them even being in the house. My sister nearly burned up her house when they left for dinner one evening and forgot to put out a couple. After that, I had a damn good reason not to have them anymore. Funny how my wife didn't mind burning crap in the house but would bitch at me for having 'fires' outside! Maybe it was because of the accelerants' I usually used?? :realcrazy:

RC with all this "nuts" talk I don't think I'm coming to "garage" christening!
