NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

I've been a Raider Hater for as long as I can remember but I will say that you Raider fans are a cut above. To hang with a team for the last 10 years....... well you know. My hats off to you.
Manning does look like an old man. Glad our running game is working good but you would think that they could through in a couple play action fakes once in awhile. Ran for over a 100 yards each of the last 3 games and not one play action.
Going to be a tough game this weekend in San Diego.

From what I have been reading it looks like they will light up the passing game again this weekend against the Chargers.
The beer fridge is stocked as are the sodium infused snacks. Should be a good one.

Much more Important thing is is the
Raiders play the @ Chiefs
I only hope they can beat them, yet again...

Just Win, Maybe !!
Go Raiders

yes I'm a gluten for punishment, maybe living in the past, "a Little"
I bleed Silver & Black, my loyalty is tested but never wavering...

More Important than any of the NFL stuff is
Looks like Marcus MariOta will probably be the Heisman Trophy Winner,
from all the NCAA awards he won last night...

Go Ducks,
unfortunately he'll probably go to Tampa Bay or the Titans or Jaguars or the Jets...

- - - Updated - - -

SF/Santa Clara 49er's @ Seattle Seahawks should be a decent game too,
it's becoming a real heated & contentious somewhat chipy at times rivalry...

Can you believe some team from the NFC South will be in the playoffs & have a home field game
with a 6w & 10L or maybe 7w & 9L record...

Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, NY:icon_thumright:

this should be a good game:happy1:....Packers do not play well on the road!

Bud who cares if Mariota goes? We don't need him. We have Carr. The NFL needs to get back to developing players.

Carr not making it to the playoffs his rookie season doesn't mean he is a terrible QB. It means they need to use draft pics on WRs and develop them together. Not burn yet another pick.

I care where he goes, he's from my alma mater, he's my boy,
he's the best person on the board at the time, regardless of position...

Raiders they've passed on so many great players, because of a specific need that it's
bit them in the A$$,

IMHFO with the 1st overall pick
you should take the "best player period",
you have to pay for it, they might as well get the best player
or just trade it away if they aren't what you need, for multiple picks...

I've seen them bypass on Arron Rogers, Calvin Johnson & Andrew Johnson
& a multitude of other great NFL players, because of some so-called needs,
I don't want to see the best player go to waste...
It's trade value if nothing else...

Just my thoughts, I know it's not realistic & have said as much,
Carr is our guy now, he's not be my favorite, but he's who we have,
if they plan on keeping him/developing him,
then he needs players to compliment his abilities & protect him also...

But I also agree we need a good "set of receivers" to compliment Carr,
I've said similar things in other posts

I'd also like to see them Draft Amari Copper too,
but they will probably go lineman off/def,
waste another great chance, at another great player...

The last good "1st pick they made"
was another fellow Heisman Trophy Winner, Charles Woodson some 15-16 years ago,
allot of bad or wasted picks in the 1st round since...

just my $0.02 cents

GO DUCKS
congrats to Marcus MariOto Heisman Trophy winner 2014
couldn't have gone to a better guy

Boy was that ugly. :puke:

I could tell early on that Rodgers was going to throw a pick in that game. It was like he and all the receivers had the yips today. They were not on the same page at all. That ball Jordy dropped is an automatic TD for him 99/100. The defense looked pretty good though.

I hope they got that out of their system before the playoffs. Too bad the Vikings couldn't have put Detroit away, too. Looks like that last game will be for the division title.

With all the Broncos fans in San Diego it's almost like a home game for us

LMAO! No $hit, plus the advantage of sea level. I heard it was something like 20,000.
It wasn't pretty but a "W" none the less. Defense looked good. Manning sick but still got it done.

Sorry
But I'm glad the Lions won, they look good finally...

but I'm not a diehard Packers fan or NFC North/Black & Blue division fan either,
but I've always had a soft spot for Detroit, I'm a glutton for punishment...LOL

didn't see any of it, it wasn't aired here... 22-10 is a decent showing

Santa Clara 49er's getting beat/manhandled in Seattle 7-17,
ol'Pops was yelling at the TV the whole damn game,
oh Keapernick this, damn Kaepernick that, freakren' refs this, damn refs that,
it was somewhat amusing actually...

my lowly Raiders got waxed again in KC 13-31
& Carr looked just merely average too & now he's limping also,
a few bumbles, a few poor decisions & bad ball handling,
didn't help much either, even if they weren't all his fault...

I wonder if he can last a whole season too...

oh well another year another crappy outcome,
this isn't my ol'Raiders for sure... hard to watch

I was great to see the Lions squeeze that out....last game of the season is going to be worth the price of admission for sure!! GO LIONS!

Seahawks take care of business. Niners kept it interesting for a while. Maybe Harbaugh should keep his bags packed.
Watching the Cowboys at Eagles. Philly comes back from 21 down to lead and has given it back. Only pulling for the Eagles cause I hate the Cowboys more.

THANK YOU Buffalo Bills!!!!! :D :D A loss by Green Bay is surely gonna make the playoff picture um....a little more interesting. The last two weeks of the season are gonna shake up the NFC like the five dice in a Yahtzee cup. The final standings are going to say a lot about what teams had the "stones" coming down the stretch. The most interesting thing is who's going to be the darkhorse team to make a run at the championship.

The Hawks need to take care of their business in Arizona next week...for sure.

The Pats seem to be owning the AFC right now, they are looking playoff ready. If anybody can knock them off, I think it'll be Denver.....we'll see.

The 9er's need a wholesale change from top to bottom, from the front office down to the coaching staff. Simply too much "other stuff" going on for a team with as many good players as they have to be having such discord in the locker room and on the field. There's a whole bunch of highly skilled players there that need to find a way to meld themselves into an "All For One-One For All" unit.

Manning will have a tough time knocking the Pat's off at Foxborough. We need somebody to knock them off just 1 game before the end of the season to tip it the Bronco's direction. The Bills are the last best hope to get it done but again, they'll be at Foxborough.

GO BILLS!!!

I'm going to predict a big performance by Aaron Rodgers vs Tampa Bay this Sunday. No one is more irritated by that last game than he is. Usually he comes up big after something pisses him off. I think the receivers will be ready, too.

Sheesh, I would expect so. it is Tampa Bay and freakin Lovie Smith after all! lol

Man, that Saints -Bears game last night was hard to watch. Calling the Bear offense inept would be giving them way too much credit. It looked like the O line didn't know their blocking assignments on half the plays and the receivers didn't know their routes. I'm not a big Jay Cutler fan, but a lot of what's wrong with the Bear offense isn't just Cutler, although I think they are paying him way too much. It's a combination of poor coaching and players that just don't give a s#&*. I actually feel bad for the fans of this once great team.

yeah the Saints didn't look all that good either, bumbling idiots in the 1st qtr,
they Rob Ryan's Blitzing Defense looked decent, but it was against the Bears offense
{sorry Mario}...
6-7 sacks & 2-3 picks or something

Poor Chicago just looked really bad, couldn't capitalize on the Saints mistakes early,
you have to go for the throat & they couldn't/didn't, but did started a little comeback in the 4th,
but way too little too late...

Cutler was constantly peeling himself off the ground the whole game...
It's kind of hard to play QB from being on your back...

It's a different team without Marshall, for sure...

as a Raiders fan that sees way too much of the same stuff week in week out,
I feel for the Chicago faithful & completely understand too...

the Bears suck. plain and simple.

BRING ME HARRRRRRBAUGH!!!! to kick some *** in that locker room. Tressman is way to passive and doesnt have any control of these guys.
