the fiberglass and bondo from the inside to patch the lower window rust is new to me.

Seems like a “parts store body work” kind of repair. I was also surprised when I found the same in my car at the rear inner sails.

The car is looking great.

I made this 70 Charger R/T desk out of the pieces I cut off of my Charger project. The pieces were not good enough to use on the car, but too good to scrap. I used a 68 fuel cap that doesn't have the word fuel on it,and turned it around to open in the opposite direction and it is my drink holder. The lights all work and the desk has factory exhaust tips too!

The chair has a 70 b body pistol grip shifter that raises and lowers the seat!

Onto the 1/4 replacement. Got the tail panel on already.

Machined the coil pockets to accept the QA1 coil overs. My upper tabs put the suspension travel where the car will be too low so I will get another set cut out to move forward.

Got one 1/4 on. Took quite a bit of cutting to allow the 1/4 to match the radius of the door. Overall not too bad.

Heck man....I'd like to have that aluminum taillight trim panel....

It has a hole drilled in it for an aftermarket alarm key switch, that's why it ended up on the desk.

Got the roof off and shaved off the drip rails. Got the 1/4 off also while I was making a mess.

You're going in deep! Now would be the time to install the new AMD 3 inch wider than stock inner wheel houses and rework the outer wheel houses for better tire clearance.

Lucky I already did get them.

The outer wheel houses need to be reworked as well to prevent the tires from bottoming out while driving over bumps. See Kern Dogs thread about reworking the outer wheelhouses. It would be much easier to rework them before they are installed in the car.

I will need to rework all of it as I have moved the tubs up in the car so it can sit lower and not rub
