Original Fan? Radiator re-core (if needed).

Bob at Glen Ray has a supply of core radiators, he would know what your car came with, you won't find too many people with more knowledge than he has. He would take your core in trade or repair it, it will be perfect. He is not cheap either, but having a core would help.

I'll shut up now. I always thought small block radiators had the outlet on the right side.
I do appreciate the help. Thank you. The correct radiator, looking at the Year One Repro, shows the bottom inlet on the right side.

I meant top. My bad.

I don’t know where year one sources their cores. I’d sooner pay for a glen ray as I know of zero people that have had issues.

Run a factory clutch fan. That flex fan is scary at high rpms . The trick would be getting an oem fan clutch. The factory put 2.5 inch pitch fans on non-ac cars, 3.0 inch pitch on ac. Use the ac fan if you need more low speed cooling. Call Glenn Ray if you need a correct max cool repro. And be prepared to gut your wallet!

Yes I’m ditching the aftermarket flex fan. Rock auto has the thermal clutch, and I am trying to source the correct radiator and fan without breaking the bank too much.

In the meantime, I’m not sure about the shroud I have now since the radiator was incorrect. Pic of the numbers on it if anyone wants to venture a guess.
