Post your 10 second combo's

Won my class at the PSCA event this weekend @ LVMS - very hot this weekend (100F+) car went 10.74-78 all weekend. Battling for the championship - next stop Fontana . . .

Tex are you thinking I need to add more timingthan 37 degrees with 112 octane? Going wednesday to race but I think I need a test and tune day to run this program out. I can't get the answers in five passes.

Canyon ,
you will only know by testing . that is one of the reasons I like using a dyno for 99% of my engine tuning . you can make changes and get results quickly . BUT you then need to back it up on the strip as final confirmation . I will also dyno it as run - bonnet shut and airpan on .

Tex

I raced last Wed. night and OMG what a night it was. No wind, 69 degrees and not much of a crowd. The car ran great and the times were again on the money. best of the night was 10.76.

Thanks Budnicks - I red lit by .018 in the third round in Fontana . . . gave it away, my opponent was late .115. I would've beat him. Still finished second in points though.

update on my Wednesday night..... Another perfect no wind night. New plugs and the need to win. Ran really well last night with many .0 lights all night lowest 002. highest .030 took third place trophy. My lowest and new record (for me) et was 10.75 @123. I was stoked to say the least with my runs. Although in the last round I choked. launch for me is still difficult with another car going first but, thats a hard one to practice since it dosen't come often. Anyway I was happy with the results for the night.

Thanks Ron it was a good night for me. I felt like a major league baseball player seeing the ball like a basket ball. I hit great lights and the car was dead on. Still working on my launches as always but, it was pretty right on last Wednesday. Good weather also always helps. It was my first trophy on the year. I was stoked.

Race night Oct 21, Sonoma Raceway. Warm afternoon 86.7 Comp Rod class had about 20 cars. Times were slower for me I guess the heat took a bit out of the air. Most runs were 10.83/1/0 never saw 10.7 but I did finish 3rd place and had a best 60' time 1.44 but red lighted myself out. Damm. Heading of to Washinton tomorrow and will miss next Wed race but, I hear it may rain. Two remaining race nights left in Nov. I hope I can land a 1st place before the end of the season.
