Post your 9 second or Faster combo's

This old beast went 8.70's...mainly by accident. It had much more in it.

Very cool altered, I do love them...

Seeing how this threads a little slow lately I thought I would throw this out there.32 bantam altered w/blown 392 hemi, glide, 57olds rearend. The chassis is 2x3 box rails w/straight axle front end, leaf spring and friction shocks. The rear is solid mounted w/3.63-1 gears and a spool. Rear disc brakes only and a chute. American racing magnesium wheels all around,18"12 spoke spindle mounts up front. 10x15 4window slots out back.12x30 slicks. The 392 is almost completely stock. Stock block, stock heads, stock crank. Good rods and forged pistons, about 7-1comp. This is a gas motor. Unknown cam w/ just over .400 lift at the valve. Solid lifters, stock push rods and rocker arms. Duel valve springs from Isky. Swap meet blower driven 8% over. Hilborn injection,Mallory mag. Car was built around 1970 w/426 hemi and clutchflite. We run it just for fun a few times a year. Goes 9 flat at 150. A blast to drive I dont push it. I only use the trans brake when I back up.

Sweet

I love fast cars

This is another one I play with. All steel hemi,8-71,injected on methanol. Crowerglide,3 speed lenco. Dana 60,floating axles. Learning how to set the clutch, how to drive it. Yeah, push in the clutch pedal engages the clutch. Strapped in I can hardly move. Quite an experiance.

Nice !!

That hemi was in the bantam first. It only lasted one weekend. We took it to Barona and the first pass it wentwell into the other lane. I mean it just torqued to the left. Hmmm, needed a little time to think on it. Well first thing next morning the guys yanked the motor. Didnt even tell me. I would have given it another shot. This is the only pic i have of that motor in the bantam. Oops, sideways pic! lol

custom Comp solid roller by Dwayne Porter (276°/284° @ .050, .672"/.651" lift) real mild lobes for street durability
Isky Red Zone lifters, Manton pushrods, DLI roller rockers
Ray Barton single 4500 manifold, 1200 cfm Pro Systems dominator

9.54 at 140.4 mph, all motor, and on 93 octane pump gas at 3800+ lbs.

My 63 Plymouth SS MW, just a 440 source 528 kit with 368cfm Indy SR's and roller cam. Had a 3500 vert in it for the nitrous so think that kept it in the high 9.9's naturally aspirated, with a 150 shot it ran a best of 9.23 @ 145.
Car is sitting at the moment, would like to step up to an after market block and have 900hp aspirated, might even get those drum brakes off the front :)

My "new" 1967 Coronet.
Ladder bar, coil over, tubbed with 2 seats and some fiberglass.
Best so far is 9.72@ 136.54
Still tweaking as there's more in there...
Only have a bottom pulley so it's harder to get quicker...just sayin

Like I eluded, more to be found
I know it'll get quicker after the summer heat
But I'm still tweaking now to see how fast it'll go in the heat
