I put two more coats of epoxy white on the trunk floor. Overall I am pretty happy with the results. I hope to put the fuel tank system in tomorrow.

If you would have asked me a half hour ago when I was busting my *** trying to get the filler tube into the gas tank and align the tank so that I could get the straps on it, I would have said come and get it now but after fighting with it for an hour I finally got it in. Even brand new parts don't want to fit together and work, but it's in and it looks good. I still have to do the six fuel lines on it. But I needed a break from lying on my back. Now I know why that Cranium guy does it on the rotisserie. I even bought his rotisserie and I didn't set it up for this project!
I got the hood off,and removed the 956 radiator, and the cast iron sixpack setup. It still has the idle solenoid and the choke spring setup on it. I removed the exhaust manifolds and the sixpack air cleaner too. I hope to pull the engine and transmission tomorrow.
I got the engine pulled out today, and the other engine off the stand so I can get the pilot bearing installed on it. I confirmed that the engine in the car is indeed the matching numbers sixpack engine as I was told by the previous owner. It shows a 3 11 70 assembly date for a car that was built on July 10th 1970. It's an F 440 HP 2 engine and the VIN numbers stamped on the pan rail match the car. Troy is a straight shooter, so I never had any reason to doubt what he told me to be true, but it's nice to see it with your own eyes!
I got off to a slow start today when I went to install the new flywheel and the flywheel bolts didn't fit. I figured that I would use the bolts from my Hemi flywheel and I would have two extra bolts, then get a set for a 440 at Carlisle and put them back in the bag with the Hemi bolts and replace the bolts that I used. Well it turns out that Hemi flywheels use two more bolts than 440 flywheels do,but they are 1/2 inch bolts and 440 flywheel bolts are 7/16 inch bolts, so none of the Hemi ones fit. So I had to order them,because the parts store doesn't stock them, they will be in Tuesday, so I won't be able to get the engine and transmission in the car until next weekend. It sucks but I welded the torque arm bracket onto the frame and the floor hump in and sealed it up. So atleast I made some progress. I also put the Charger bumper jack in the car too.
I painted the lower part of the firewall and the torque arm bracket too.
Today I painted the motor mount brackets then installed the new insulator mounts then I installed them on the engine with the correct hardware. They were on the other engine with a mixture of light grade hardware store nuts and bolts, some had lug nuts for nuts on them. It took me a while to find the correct hardware, but I did. Now I have to find a dipstick and dipstick tube.
My wife picked up the flywheel bolts for me yesterday. If I can get enough time away from work, the engine and transmission might actually get installed in the car.

Good days work. Nice to see it coming together.
This morning I went to install the transmission crossmember and there was no transmission mount in the crossmember, so I stole the transmission crossmember from my 70 Charger R/T SE that was laying on the floor where I left it when I pulled out the 18 spline Hemi 4 speed transmission that I just had rebuilt for the white car. The Charger R/T SE has 4.10 gears so an overdrive swap is planned for that car,so I will put the crossmember from the white car with it,as it may have to be modified or replaced all together when I get around to putting that car back together. Anyways that crossmember bolted right in, and I will probably steal the drive shaft too. I am making progress!

4.10 gears + 440 6bbl + 3 pedals + overdrive = BLISS!!
I switched from the 3.54 R&P gears in the Dana 60 in my 70 Roadrunner 440 6bbl 18 spline 4 speed to 4.10 gears when the Passon 855 5 speed went in.
The "math formula" I started this post with is something to experience!!
That's the plan, the a855 isthe way to go ina 70 B body Mopar.
