For what it's worth I run The Motive street gerss in the Dana 60 in my racecar. They've been better than any other brand I've tried. Including a Pro gear from US gear.

Dangit, now you made me curious! Gonna have to go out and see if I can find out who made the gears in my new speedmaster center.Soo.. here is something i found interesting.. i have been reading around about gear manufacturers and all that.. And read that Motive/Richmond are the same parent company and some people said they are still 2 different plants/manufacturing lines for each and other people said it's the same product with 2 names...
Then i ran into this which is less than half of what i see them for sale anywhere else..

I actually called Motive a few mins ago to ask a guy if they know of knockoffs or fakes or anything (cause anything can be now) and he said no... some vendors will blow stuff out to get numbers up and it's probably real..
I asked him bout richmond/motive and he said all Richmond are still make in italy and Motives can be from any of 4 different "Cheap" countries.. my word not his... He also confirmed motives are quieter since they aren't so performance orientated..
I just found that interesting is all and was nice to learn from the actual company. And i swear all my wrong bullshit comes from LS forums when i do google searches... can't believe ****. For $115 i might just try though.... that's a crazy price and i will never make enough power to break em.
Well.. i'm getting tired of putting **** together 3 times.. literally every part of this car i have put together and taken apart at least twice (other than the motor, but that's coming) so.. hoping to at least do this properlyDangit, now you made me curious! I did check pattern and backlash when it came in. Quite nice. And frankly, if they don't break, a little noise won't bother me. I probably won't be able to hear it anyway (my girlfriend says she has to see, hear, and smell for me too)
