WHAT SHOULD I DO TO THE ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 383 for my 70 Roadrunner? Rebuild it to original factory specifications or a mildly stroked build that won't dramatically alter the outward appearance (SLEEPER) of a stock 383 HP 4 bbl. What do you guys think? Feel free to add to this topic and is greatly appreciated.

Roadbird, its my own opinion but i really cant say it would hurt it at all.. Same engine better performance, a great improvement.

I think so too. I also have a 1968 440 Magnum 4 bbl minus the pistons and connecting rods that I'm planning to full stroke it to about 512, 513. Going 0.60 over bore on this motor and this might find it's way into my 69RR parts car in Michigan waiting for me to transport it here in Washington. But that one can wait until I can afford it or finish my 70RR resto.
 
If you want to mildly build the 383 for your RR, it won't change anythimg. I't's still the original motor only now it will run better.

I would agree with you on finishing the 70 before starting the 69.. Its hard enough trying to get one the way we want and get it done with minimal problems, I kind of tried mamas patience a couple times with her and the kids and time spent with them. JMO.

Tell me about it. LOL. Well today I towed my 70RR to her new home and yes I did it at dark hours here in Washington. Reason? So no one will notice it too much until it's all finished and tearing up the streets. Yeah" Workin on a night move. Sleeper. Thanks everybody.

Well for 500 bucks you can hardly go wrong! Just buy 2 more at that price, and you will have enough parts to make 1 good one! And a bunch of leftovers you can sell! Lol

Yeah and I have a 69RR parts car which I paid $500 and comes with a lot of extra parts too. I was thinking to probably use whatever parts I can towards my 70RR and complete that and then sell the rest of the extra parts here after the 70 is finished. So what do you think?
 
Roadbird, I wanted to share this color with you.. Seen it and thought with the color, and that wing, you might want to see it.. I think the wing looks real nice on it.. Me personally I don't really care for the tires on this one, i never did care for the rubber bands i think ive heard them called.. But to each there own! Not because of my preference in white stripes but i really could see this one looking great with a white wing and stripe.

Yes i do, the white brightens up things, it stands out and to be honest, my opinion would be that white interior along with roof and stripes would look great.
 
Well then it's seriously being considered with either torch red painted 14" steelies with 9" dog dish caps or 15 x 8 - 10" wide draglites in the rear and 15 x 6" draglites in the front.
