These went on OK yesterday with a little stretching. I forgot to take pictures of the backing, the foams were in pretty good condition since the seats had not been used in 40+ years so I am re-using them. The original latex foam is better than the repop stuff. I glued one layer of the moving blanket material to the bottom of the foams and hog ringed another layer on the frames over the springs, and put a layer of 1/2" foam in between during assembly.
Backrests done similar, cut one of the old ones up for a pattern. Covered the frames and the backs of the foams with material, and added 1/2” foam in lumbar area.
A shot of the dash before it gets dog hair all over it. The car is basically done now, and a real blast to drive. Today is November 27, I started this thread last year on November 27. Actually, rolled it in the shop and started it 2 weeks before that. So here is approx 3000 hours of actual labor and countless hours researching, looking for parts, ordering parts and supplies, and going to get parts and supplies. It was well worth the effort!
