Wow. That's enough to go on one helluva bender!

I certainly do imbibe Single Malt Scotch. I prefer Highland or Speyside. I do not care for the peated malt flavor, but to each his own. I have been to the Whisky Castle in Tomintoul back in 2012. My son and I went to many, many distilleries, Edradour, Aberlour, Glen Grant, Glenlivet, Glen Morangie, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Glenfarclas, Glen Moray (I have a bottle of this right now), Glenrothes, Macallen, Balblair, Blair Athol, and Old Pulteney. We stayed at the Highlander in Craigallechie, and then in Tain. We had a car so we went wherever we wanted, whenever we wanted. We are both members of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, and have been to their establishment in Edinburgh. He used to write a whiskey blog.
I was in Scotland again just this past April and took my wife and daughter to Edradour and Ben Nevis...they loved it !

Did you happen to stop & shop at "The Whisky Castle" in Tomintoul by chance? My favourite destination in Scotland.

I've had alot. Best was one my buddy brought out ice fishing a few weeks ago. It was fantastic, the price was also great it was all of "free99". This is usually around 90$, the finish was great. Probably wasn't right my chaser was PBR lol. We usually bring out at least a 12 year of something to keep us warm.

We sure did ! It was such a nice day that aft3r spending time in the store, I went across the street to some picnic tables and wrote a bunch of post cards home. Lovely bright, even warm day. I love the towns

No expert, just began trying single malts a couple of years ago. I liked the Glenlivet, also Glenmorangie. Had Monkey Shoulder suggested and it was ok. Macallan was great. I had watched some YouTube vids of a guy named Ralfy. Very entertaining. He had given high ratings to a lower priced malt called Speyburn. It has become my go to malt. I like mine with a splash.

My stomach rejects Scotch and Whiskey even in small doses. Oh but it liked Vodka.
