Who here knows what 3 teams from the original NFL went over to the now merged AFL thus rounding out the new NFC and AFC Conferences which is now the present day NFL??? Bet you get it all wrong so bring it on...cr8crshr/Tuck:frog::icon_cheers::icon_cheers::icon_cheers:

Colts, Steelers, Browns moved from the NFL to the AFL during the merger

I grew up an AFL fan (Chiefs and Jets)
The first Superbowl I remember watching was number 3 - Jets vs Colts.

What's interesting about the Colts is they represented the NFL when they played the Jets in 1969 and the AFC two years later when they played the Cowboys.

Seatle started as an NFC team, then went to an AFC team and is again an NFC team.

I doubt you'll find a Steelers fan who doesn't know the answer to that question. :) By the way, there was a lot of resistance by the Steelers, mainly on the part of Dan Rooney, at the time the move was being considered. Dan was blocking the plans until Art Modell made a personal appeal to Art Rooney and told Art Rooney that he had already agreed to move the Browns to the AFC and he wanted the Steelers to come with him, and Art Rooney told Dan Rooney he could stay wherever he wanted but the Steelers were going to the AFC.
