I've recently inherited my fathers tools, riding mower, etc, and find myself in need of storage space. I'm looking for an affordable, practical storage solution. I've been pricing plastic, metal, and wood sheds, as well as shipping containers, and a possible garage addition. Any addition to the garage would mean another increase in property tax. Building or buying anything made with wood, means dealing with the current ridiculously high prices. Would you believe right now you can have an 8'x20', possibly an 8'x40' weather tight shipping container delivered for about the same price as a finished ( shingles & paint) 8'x 10' cheaply built wooden shed ? Though if i went with a shipping container, i'd be spending money on siding it, or somehow improving its looks. I'm curious where others store their junk.
