What I like about it:
What I don't like about it:
- It's a '70 Charger R/T 440 4 speed track pack with sure grip. Say no more!
- It's white. (rarely seen one myself)
- No vinyl top.
- No stripes.
- The novelty of late production.
- Looks good underneath.
- Numbers matching engine is gone.
- Burnt orange interior (easily remedied)
- Rust in cowl area?
- Rust in sill areas?
- Those old weld repairs.
- The woodgrain instrument panel is gone. What else is lurking there? Probably doesn't matter since the whole dash assembly and instruments/wiring have to be restored anyway.
It is certainly worthy of saving.
I’m a UT grad, so white and burnt Orange with no vinyl top are my thing. Numbers matching motor being missing is common. It’s just clearly been sitting outside and water clearly gets in...as all the carpet was soaked. The shag was put over the factory carpet and insulation, all of which was soaked. Front floors and rear footwells needed for sure. The inside of the hood braces are crusty as well, and I don’t know how easy it is to find a good hood. The cowl also has a lot of crap in it, and with it being outside I’m sure that means the cowl needs to come off.
If it was super solid, I’d say 25 was fair. But it seems a bit high when you factor in all the rust work.
