To Flame or Not to Flame is the Question?

My 69 Vette had ghost flames on it when I bought it, so I am leaving them for now, bit it is not something I would choose to do.

I personally don't like any flames on any Mopars with these two exceptions. Flames look OK on 50s & older rods & customs if done right.

I don't mean to insult anyone, but if I was fortunate enough to buy that superbird, I wouldn't drive it home. I'd drive it to the nearest paint shop, and get those HIDEOUS flames off my car before it could be seen in my neighborhood .

Some cars are ok with them. My neighbor has a monza with flames a blower, cage and tubed with huge back tires. It all fits like a hot wheels car.
