Is there a site to look up what kind of car a particular engine came out of?
Exact would be awesome but not that necessary, by the partial I know I should be a coronet or charger. I am trying to find out witch one of the two it actually is. Any help would be great. The partial is 0G227802
Per the partial V.I.N. it was a St. Louis built car for the 1970 model year.
The partial V.I.N. does not show what body it came from.
I THINK St. Louis built C bodies as well as B bodies. I know they were the only plant that built convertibles B bodies but the C body converts MAY not have been built there. So, if they built Cs there it could have been put in a Charger, GTX, R/T, or any C body with or without an HP 440 engine.

D, STL built only B bodies in 70. Never built any C's that I know of. A bodies were added in '73.
The engine was a 70, it could be RR or GTX, Charger R/T, Super Bee or Coronet R/t
