Well I'm happy with my summer

Awesome car Bernie, and thanks for the pics. Can we have a close-up of that curious looking fender decal please? :)

Back in the 60s and 70s when newspapers had comic strips like Dagwood and Lil Abner, there was also a comic strip called Scamp. It was about the adventures of a little dog and his friends. Most of the time he was either running towards or away from something.

When I had my first GTX back in 69, I had it tuned by two local brothers called Griecken who had a garage, were into drag racing and were Mopar specialists. If you were a steady customer and kept your car running well, at your option, they would paint a little Scamp on the fender. It became sort of a trademark to anyone on the street that offered a challenge: they were going to run a Griecken car.

So when I got this one, I decided to put a Scamp on the fender to make the picture complete.

Great looking car - looks perfect to me. I wouldn't think there is much more needing improving?

Next year, I want to raise the rear end 2 inches to give it a nice rake.

Dave Whitehouse at www.customautoemblems.net. This is a sideline for him so be patient. He is a super guy to deal with.

Thanks for the contact! If you have a chance if you could PM me with a ballpark price of what it ran you it would be appreciated.

I'm torn on whether or not I want a call-out with what is actually going to be under my hood when my Stroker goes in this winter (522) or to just leave the 383 there for a sleeper effect
