Sorry to say, The midtown deli Carnegie has closed. Only online Merchandize for sale. I've been there countless of times. One of the Best next to Katz's Delicatessen in the Lower East Side of Manhattan
or Pastrami Queen. Also sorry to say, The 2nd Ave Deli was never the same after the owner was killed in a Robbery years ago.....

A pastrami sandwich cost about $24.75 at Katz's.. You still get a lot of the Meat....

We've been to both Katz and Carnegie while traveling in NY. If my memory is correct they didn't allow sharing. The food can be awesome but if they don't allow us to share that huge mount of meat, I'm not happy especially when it costs that much. Can't eat it all and the rest goes in the garbage (no fridge in the hotel room).

I always get a ruben at any new restaurant I go to.
If their ruben sucks so does the rest of their food.

I also love me some ham salad.

If you want to go full Wisco, hard to beat braunschweiger on toast, with a dark beer.
Think I'll have me one for lunch today, just got some fresh onion.

I didn't realize that they were closed. That's sad. I haven't been there since moving to NC in 2015, and wrongly assumed that it would be there forever.
I'm not sure if Harold's Deli is still open in NYC, but they opened a few in NJ. They had great sandwiches, but you paid for the name.
