What did you do to your Mopar today?

Installed new fuel line on the 63 Sport Fury from tank to pump which I had gotten from Fine Lines at Carlisle last week.

L image.jpg and isolate the electrical
problem to the bulkhead connector.

Replaced fuel pump in the wagon, and installed a glass bodied filter.

The old pump wouldn't pump anything, even after priming and drawing fuel through with a vacuum pump.

New pump just seems to spit a small amount into the filter, but not enough to stay running.
This pump was on my 73 Charger, and the car yard drove.
Scratching head, but prepping fuel tank to see if the siphon effect will help, rather than trying to run from a hose at the end of line in a gas can.

While I was under the alternator, I found a warranty short block tag.
Interesting.

Also removed access panel for tailgate window.
Hmmpf, gotta be up to get at the motor.
FSM says to jump wires. I'd like to see that procedure performed.
Can't do it with gate/glass up, cause filler panel is in the way.
Can't do it with glass down, cause glass is in the way.

Drove the white zombie express to the shop.
Man, driving a 440 4 speed is FUN, no matter what it's in!

Friday i finished up the blasting of the 3/4 rearend and leaf springs, Used some rust converter over everything, it (Eastwoods) does have to be primer-ed and painted so its all turning out good!
Also put the 73 up on ramps for a new oil filter and change, Or change and then oil filter lol..

Started in on the wires.... I have about a half a day into about a month of wireing....

Just got home after driving my 63 to the post office and then to Pep Boys where my friend works to get some spray detailer. Then hit the ATM for money and stopped at McDonalds to get some grub. Talked to a guy at McDonalds who has a 69-1/2 six pack Super Bee as he said its not been out in 2 years. And then I realized I knew him and have seen his nice red 6pk car before. I have alot of fun just driving around my local area with my 63. Ron

Bought a bag of dope to mellow the redundancy of wireing.... red is+ and black is- the black with a red stripe must be the Jamaican wire and the green one is Irish...

Got some home depot wire soder and torch... neither I'm happy with but I think I can make some cables up with it...
I am looking forward to getting back into the car again... vacation is over and the shop runner ( woman's car) got some oil and is running decent....

Removed single chamber master cylinder out of my 66 Coronet. Heavy little thing.

Not a 'B' but it's all MoPar :headbang: Finally able to install my new 46 year old sway bay, complete with the new end links...

for anyone who has an A100 needing sway bar mounts - the Moog part is actually listed as for a Ford Explorer, and looks/fits just like the real deal. Just waiting for Monday to roll around to buy the new fixing bolts for the shocks and links. Needs a 6" bolt now.

Been searching online for some interior parts. Refinish or buy repops if I have to. Man interior parts seem hard to find. Glad I have most of it intact. Just needs some tlc. I admire you guys that are searching for just about everything interior.

I also recommitted my vows to the car. Big step after our 42 year marriage!

Wagon:
Re-keyed a correct ignition lock cylinder
Re-keyed a door lock cylinder
Re-bushed and re-pinned the driver's door lower hinge and adjusted door and striker (noticed upper hinge is bad)
Dug out passenger side mirror from stash
Smacked reese hitch with a hammer, so bolt holes would line up, and marked for clearance cuts
Waiting on fuel tank grommets to install tank
Purchased pawn shop radiator pressure tester so I can find a pinhole leak and hopefully solder it

Satellite:
Resolved to try freeze plug press one more time this week, or I'm pulling the engine next weekend :(

D150:
Drove the piss out of it
(OK, there's still some piss left in it, but a LOT has been driven out)

The same thing I do every day Pinky, spread bondo and sand.. :)

I also did spent some time looking at the gauge panel thinking about my options, costs, etc.

drove it!

For the first time in over a decade, the Dart pulled out of the garage on its own power.IMG_20140731_094759.jpg
