What did you do to your Mopar today?

not uncommon to find build sheet for the wrong car .
lucky to find a matching one put it somewhere safe - not a safe place where you'll forget where you put it

Express update: I bolted the dash in place and assembled the console/symphony stereo/digital dual climate control. Installed the heat/AC today. Trying to get it all bolted up in place so I can fabricate the flat tunnel top it all needs to sit upon. Took me 2 hours to figure out where two brackets were supposed to go. Fit under there almost exactly as I suspected it would. The in and out lines for the heater are closer to the firewall by about 2 inches than I thought they would be but no worries, i'll just snip a bit off the ends so I can make the 90 degree turn and route the hoses out the side and up over the wheel well and down into the engine bay just above the frame rail. The blower motor fresh air inlet is about 2 1/2 inches to the left of center. Other than that it's all good. Once I have the tunnel top made , bought the steel today, I can work out the parking brake cables entrance spots and shift lever positioning. Going to go with a short pistol grip. Also need to get the steering wheel mounted up into place and mark the firewall for the pass through. Also need to get the DUST off of everything!!lol.

Picked up and installed the teak wood shift handle I had made, wasn't happy with the plastic one. Had it made thicker to fit my hand.

EDDY out HOLLEY in, wasn't happy with response from the Eddy. New engine way too wild I think........anyhow had an old 3310 laying around, rebuilt it, installed it, and smiling. Response off idle is where it should be w/ 50cc, jets up only to 80's, almost purring........ few more shakedown and will be just right. Engine build was one of mine from early 90's, 11.5 comp, +30 383, old school 509 292 purpleshaft.
Loads of advance, 17 initial, one lightened spring, vac

advance cranked full, all in @ 2300. loads of fun.

Located all of the misc. parts and pieces of the dash and console finally. lol. Hiding in a blue bucket , in plain sight. Got it together enough to get the measurements for the square top tunnel cover that everything needs to rest upon. The handbrake bolts to it, the arm rest base bolts to it, the shifter bolts to it, the console bolts....well you get the idea. I fabricated the first half today and got it welded in place. The back half is about 3 inches lower than the front. I split it at that junction. Moving along well!.

Well I picked up a TM7 from a member here, mocking carb lines and such. Also pulled the valley pan so I could eyeball the cam. Having a lifter ticking cold that gets better when warm, gave me a little pucker factor. With less than 2000 miles I was afraid of a wiped lobe but all looks good. Damm Comp Lifters. Also the TM7 is super close to a factory cast 2806178 as far as carb pad height, less than 1/2in taller. Yippy Skippy.

Got the Coronet back on the road for the first time since May...almost. Bought a new battery and hooked that up, changed the oil, coolant, and the lower radiator hose; and topped off the leaking power steering pump. Started it up. Saw smoke coming off the DS manifold...fark! The high pressure hose fitting at the pump has a crack in it, so now I'm going to need a new ps hose. Kinda bummed. I've been driving my Imperial convertible all Summer, at the expense of letting the Coronet sit. So now, it's off to my buddy's NAPA store. He builds hydraulic hoses from scratch.

Now that the Coronet is gonna have to wait a couple of days, I'll turn my attention back to the Imperial for a couple of things.

Update: found my dyno sheet for this one....
484 hp @ 6200, 513 tq @ 4700, although that was track prepped, race prep Holley, TM6 (still have hehe),and some kind of Hookers- don't remember. Simple port match, and old DC template head work. Downgraded some with Weiand 8008, hogged out manifolds, and the 3310. Forgot it had adjustable rockers too....until this am.
Not too shabby for a little 383.

Got the floor covered today.

Carpet next.
Still waiting on the new seat covers from PG, hopefully they'll arrive this week.

Pulled that 8 3/4 for the wagon, back apart. It had been bothering me for weeks on the brake-setup. It would seem you need to order[or make] spacers, that Wilwood sells a-la-cart....but doesn't sell with the kit. It would have been fine[adjusted to compensate], but after so many years of doing this crap...when something is nagging at ya, ya have to address it. No matter how trivial.

Welded in the center tunnel fabrication for the Audi console and Heat/AC to rest upon. Also the parking brake and arm rest base bolt to it as well. Two different levels. I put the rest of the dash together and fastened everything down in order to see if I got it right. Now I will rip it all apart again so I can paint and also before it goes back together I need to locate and fabricate the mounting holes/spaces for those things that bolt on, and the openings for the parking brake cables to come up from below in the right spots to catch the dual pull head in the center of the console base. I discovered a couple of issues with missing attachment points on the dash and glove box. The heater outlet routing tubes will need to be fastened in too so the air will flow out. The firewall is now marked up for the space everything so far is taking up so I have an idea of the remaining spaces for moving the wiper motor and brakes under the dash. in still need to build some lower carpeted bolsters that go from floor up to the bottom edge of the console as it is curved and stands out away from the tunnel sides. Also I need to look into the positioning of the foot well side covers from the original interior and how they fit around the Audi stuff. I have some more welding to do on floors and firewall and then paint and boom mat. I already have the new carpet.
Added to all of that I will also at some future date be plugging everything back into the harness and sorting that all out. One of my buddies is a retired Audi technician and he will help me sort that stuff.
Lots to do still but my design outline has passed as far as proof of concept goes.
