What did you do to your Mopar today?

Drove about 20 miles, still trying to sort her out for longer trips. I believe I tuned out the part-throttle stumble today. No overheating! Brakes work good! Suspension rides ok, but I will make it better. Loose front end at speed, needs some work. But she is licensed, insured, legal, and 90% ready to rock!

Brake booster

Got the rebuilt brake booster and master cylinder installed.

Blasted and painted another rallye wheel.
One per day!
Not really happy with either color of silver from Lowes.
One is too dark, but I do kind of like it.
The other is too shiny and almost chrome-like.
Might run different colors on each side for a while.

I finally got my tranny pan to stop leaking, new pan and a special gasket from Mancini racing. Now the stering box is leaking cant win LOL

Cutting welding in patches in drivers quarter since monday finished at noon today moved car over began on passenger side quarters, i will be happy when this part is over then it will seem like i'm making headway.

Cool. After I get all the rust off the bare metal roof, and the tires with busted belts off, I get to choose between quarter work and windshield channel work. Yipee.

Did those already all i got left after the ouarters is doors, hood, trunk lid, front fenders then metal work is done i think.

Did some carb adjustments and played some with the timing, went for a short ride and i have Improvement in acceleration...

Cut out and installed the hood. Hiding the GOODS! Now just need that big hemi scoop.

My car was making a clunky sound on take-off, so I started off with the easy stuff to try an fix: 1. drained/added rear fluid and additive - Noise still there
2. Removed draft shaft, replaced u-joints - noise still there 3. Replaced tranny mount which barely had any rubber left and was missing a nut! Definitely thought I had the issue fixed...i was wrong. Step 4. Motor mounts, driver side was completely broken. 5 hours later, shes like a new car and I can confidently go back to leaving rubber on the road and can stop worrying about the 440/tranny ending up on the road!

Started to paint the garage it will reside in come a month or so from now..

Daredevil, Very nice!!!!

AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH BAD LUCK.... Tried to fire the G.T.X up after 9 years of restoring. ----- STRIKE TWO---- First it was the oil pump I had to replace. Now it wanted to start when i sprayed the carb. Broke the gas line at the carb---- NO GAS. Need a new fuel pump after checking pressure. Another wasted weekend and it hasn't even started. Nobody stocks a fuel pump for a 440 ( Be here on Mon.). Looks like next weekend I will try again.

put my new simpson cam lock harness in my 65 black dodge coronet. filled up the fuel cell and loaded it up to race this weekend.
