Got some extra support going in....

still not as much work as usaroadrunner

but i did bypass my ampmeter in my gauge cluster

however, now cant get speedo locknut close enough to thread onto the threads of the cluster. not sure what happened

Got it back on all fours, and finished wiring up the battery. So I pushed it out of the garage an fired it up for the first time this year.

Got a wheel alignment this morning, these damn Michigan roads beat the hell out of things

Dropped the block and heads off at the machine shop. Picked up a 15x6.5 steel wheel for my spare. I could have bought a used space saver, that would have fit into the well, but I just don't like the idea of driving on them. I'll fab a bracket up and secure the spare to it. Best part is I got the wheel for free of a relative.

nice! I've been thinking about spares today. Need a 26" tall 70 series tire on a stock MOPAR rim.

Got more new parts in took inventory and filed paperwork . Put parts away . Getting closer to getting her back in the shop !
This caddy is almost gone!

Took my rear wheels off today to mount the new Nitto drag radial tires. Found the problem that I thought was the front disc brakes. The right rear axle flange moves around and signifies a new wheel bearing has gone out, or a broken axle ( doubt that)
So disgusted , I left it till tomorrow. Dirty job with all the brake shoe dust..........MO

Haven't been doing nearly as much as I'd like...but have to see a neurosurgeon for my back injury from about 6 weeks ago. In the meantime....my friend Dave and I, have the heater-box out of my road runner for a heater-core and blend-door. The entire dash is apart, for a new harness and general fixing of the bullshit job that was done on the dash part of the resto[well, one part]. We're about 1/2 done. I now have to get a really nice glove-box door, and re-dye the lower pad and door. This ordeal is a great reminder of why I never bought other people's resto's. I've been working on/fixing/correcting this car since I purchased it. It will be really nice, once I've gone thru it.

We have the cluster back in. ALL GAUGES ARE WORKING. Replaced LOTS of fubar'd pieces. Soldered board, broken gauges, broken pins on the board, etc.
Heater box back in. No more leaky core.
All cables work correctly. 2 were reversed, and one wasn't hooked up. Plus the temperature blend door was broken.
Most of the new dash harness is connected and working. The old one had lots of splices, wire-nuts, lots of tape, incorrect plugs, etc.
Weird lighting issues seem to be gone.

Have to do a bit of paint and vinyl-dye work, but I think I'm gonna be much more pleased with this tub-o-****. We're hoping to have it wrapped-up by the weekend.

HEY...RK MOTORS!!!! **** YOU!!!! Actually check-out a car, instead of posting all the pretty pictures. The "restorers" are the culprits...but RK is the pusher of bullshit.

Started on the rocker repairs. Also, mouse house eviction, and ballast removal.

Dropped it off at the shop for a front end rebuild using PST's super rubber kit. They're also installing subframe connectors and a new speedo gear. Does it even count if I'm not doing the work???:)

Certainly it counts. We can't all be mechanics to love our Mopars. I used to do all my own work, but the last few years , the age factor -pain has taken the fun out of it. Problem is, I still like to create, but don't have the money to have someone else do the work..8-( .................................MO

Ordered 20AN stuff for new WO radiator. sigh.
Got the painting materials for the runner interior. Yea.
Checked to see the progress on the wrecked Caravan. Yea.
Got rotors for the dually. Yea.
Checked to see if my heads came in at Modern. Not yet.
Tried to contact my painter about the WO hood-repair. Wasn't there.
