What did you do to your Mopar today?

I have a feeling that I will never hear from them when they try to find that trim piece, and then find that to buy it new, you have to buy all the rear window mouldings.
Thanks Dale, I may need yours if you can spare it. At the bottom of the rear window, there is two pieces that have some curves to follow the curves of the back glass. A left and a right. The left (driver side) is the one they broke..................................MO
I will check my stash. I believe the parts RR has those still. I will let you know. Price will be right ;)

Don't take them off yet for me. I will see what they do(platers). I expect you know what a biotch those are to get off.........................MO

Put my new dash speaker in the 64 Dodge--took hours ! Imagine a 6'4" 275 lb. fat guy with bad knees and back and 1/2 blind, getting under a dash with bench seats, 4 speed shifter, clutch and brake pedals, right handed but could only get my left arm and hand which is arthritic up around all that dash wiring. Just as I was trying to get the last nut on the stud, my re-chargeable led flashlight suddenly went out. Add in that someone kept calling me on the cell phone which was over on the work bench. Naughty words were said. I need an apprentice.:BangHead: ......................................MO

Steve - you need to keep your phone close to you - especially in that situation! You never know when you might need help getting extricated from that position!

Today I put a new cam position sensor in my Cummins with the help of a mechanic friend of mine in his shop. Darn near had to be a contortionist to get it done.

The good news is, today I got ole Brutus out of the shop and took a little nice day drive. The radio was one I obtained from another Mopar guy- taking his word that it worked, antenna that I was a little skeptical of, and the new stock type speaker. Once I got out of the all metal garage, the stock AM radio worked good as new!! AM stations are far and few, but I have a FM converter and will see how well it works.
Brutus was feeling pretty frisky, and I believe he gained some power over the Winter ! May have been my imagination :steering:.........................MO

Good for you, Steve! We're still a little ways away from getting out. Winter storm coming through today and cruddy weather for the next week. UPS brought me a new set of Espo leaf springs for the Satellite this week, so that project is waiting for me when I get the car back home in the garage. Maybe another couple of weeks.

I drove it home from winter storage today!

They all told me "That'll buff right out". I have my doubts....just scavenging before it goes to the crusher
