Got my in hood signal lights working again...originals were done like dinner...removed and installed re-pops....found where someone cut the wiring off and taped it back into the harness...took a while but back up and running.

Went to the annual "Pie run", car guys and gals from the area converge on the local bakery to pic up pies and get their cars out one more time before the bad weather. Good turn out about 70 or so cars, with a dozen or so Mopars.Forgot to put the card in the camera so no pics this time.

Finally found 235/60 indy 500's for the front, put them on. Got some windlace and ashtrays from yearone, windlace got put on but ashtrays were wrong. Forgot the verts ashtrays were bigger. Bought new calipers, hoses, pads and master cylinder that my buddy and i are putting on tomorrow. Oh, and filled the power steering reservoir.

I cut and fit a set of NOS floormats for the 64. I had been looking for a nice set of front and rear period correct red floormats for about two years now so it's nice to not have to search any more for them.

This set was very large- so it hurt to cut them up- but it tuned out pretty good I'd say.

Very nice indeed....

Me...finished installing windshield wiper pivot seals...pulled tail lights for freshening up.

Those floor mats look good.
I put 2 gal of gas in my car and cruised about 15 miles or so and burnt all of it.I am keeping it low as I need to drop the tank soon to put a new pad between it and the body. It was 60 here today.Great day.

i love that red interior nice job.

i had to fix 2 valve cover bolt holes with a HELI-COIL. first time i ever used them was today and they worked great...call me a 70's reject but i HAD to put chrome valve covers on it with the "T" handles..........YEAHH,,,I GOT SHACKLES ON IT TOO..... so what.

i gotta fix the gas gauge it didnt work today but it worked yesterday....gotta be a bad ground or a bad gauge ...i grounded it today and it didnt move...soooooooooo...im guessin the gauge is bad. just one more project!...i love restoring this car!

thanks for all the compliments on the mats guys! Like I said I;m glad to have finally found a set that works.

Sounds like you all are up to some good things, glad to hear 67440chrg got to get out and cruise.

pulled the rear tail lights-polished the lenses and bezels-tomorrow the finish panel--fun-one more thing off my punch list

When they are delivered today per the schedule, will install a set of rubber coated steel valve cover gaskets to fix a leak so I can go cruising.

well...where do i start?...i FIINALLY found whats wrong with the gas gauge. for those that dont know..( i didnt)..the 5 prong pins on the circuit board are for the gauges minus the alt gauge. they control gas, oil and temp. so if youre havin probs with those gauges...start there. i cleaned the pins plugged it in and TA-DAAAAAAAAAAAAA....... all gauges work.

i attempted to deluxxe up the glove box door inside and the hinge. i cleaned them sooooooooooo carefully. painted them and now they look like the surface of the moon with MILLION FISHEYES.im not happy about this. ill bead blast it and start over.

Unhooked the battery, took all the cleaning rags out of the trunk, laid out the moth balls in it (mice) and put the cover on it. Probably done for the season

I put a cooling system heater in my little 94 Dakota this weekend...I think it was a waste of money...it don't work all that well

heres what i did!

i kissed it...petted it..... told it that i loved it..... and thanked it for sticking around and being loyal. then i waxed it, detailed the interior, took it for a long ride trying to get the gas gauge to move to see if i fixed it,...bought a gas can and put gas in it and put that in the trunk so just incase the gauge is LYINGGGGGGG to me...ill have gas if i run out if the gauge isnt accurate and wont have to push it.

i kissed it again...petted it some more.....told it that i loved it again and that i would ALWAYS take care of it....thennnnnnnnnnn....i drove it some more while the weather is still kinda decent....went and got dinner in it......while i was eating dinner in it....about 6 people were gathering around it like it was a UFO. i can understand why.....ITS GORGEOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS ...the end

I removed the frost plugs and knocked out the cam bearings. Just need to pull the dowels and get it ready to weld up the huge hole in the side of the block.
