What did you do to your Mopar today?

Installed my drivers seat !....to get her out of the hoist bay, so that I could inspect the wife's plastic thing before listing it for sale! Bee moves nice, brakes work and no clutch / driveline shutter. Something it had before tear down.

Hey, I had a seat just like that one, but it was orange...

I got a seat belt warning one time while sitting in a chase lounge style lawn chair in my friend's 77 Fury 2D.

Even more interesting is that he had just done a massive burnout and we had a case of beer and about $100 in fireworks (illegal in OH) hastily stuffed under the back seat and spilling out, and one six inch bottle rocket sticking out of the hole where the drivers side door mirror should have been (which he was just about to light).

The cute blonde female OSP officer (OSP was notoriously strict) stated in a completely deadpan manner (with that plastic tipped rocket about 2 inches from her left breast) "Sir I realize you are seated in a chase lounge, but Ohio law still requires you to be wearing a seat belt any time the vehicle is in motion" as she handed me the warning paperwork.

I was just looking at Mancini's website to compare prices on a couple things too. Not sure if I'll drive over or not. I've never been there but I'd like to go check in out on of these days.

I'll have to check out Mancini's site but i know DMT has what i'm looking for. I'm sure a visit to Mancini's would be a little more interesting

Put a new circuit board (RTE) in the tach, and reworked the bezel. Anyone know of a volt gauge conversion to replace the amp gauge for this type of dash?

@barnfind - what paint did you use for that cluster.

Looks real good.

I installed this hood pop-up spring bumper to save the paint where the spring touches the hood.

I found it on Ebay listed by seller named jesuschrysler.

I already have a silver paint pen.

I did a practice pass side vent housing.

Looks real close to factory.

Pulled Valve body today. Been a while since I did it, so got it hanging and rod to put paw in park wouldn't come out WTF. Did a little wiping of drops and other minor things. Looking at it thought turn driveshaft a little, held VB up turned drive shaft came right out. Felt dumb for not thinking of it sooner. Excuse is haven't messed with a trans in 30 years and never in the car. A poor excuse is better than none at all.

Got the 68 Satty out of body shop prison today. After many "promises" and excuses, last Monday I told them I was picking up the car either Thursday ( today ) or Friday whether done or not. Tuesday and Wednesday the second coat of bedliner paint was applied to the floor, rear window was installed after cleaning the window channel and painting it and stainless trim clips installed, Front and rear window stainless trim installed ( trouble there) Drip rail trim installed, new hood adjusted and had to modify the safety latch hole, doors shimmed and adjusted, newly upholstered drivers seat installed so I could drive the car, rear bumper installed, re-install the side marker lights, seam sealer and undercoating under the car where the quarter skins were installed. I took the Sport Satellite ( GTX) chrome bezels off the tail light lenses and put the Roadrunner-Satellite bezels on, cleaned them all up, and installed new gaskets. Installed the quarter fender extensions and put the tail lights in them.
I then drove the Satty to the detailing shop where the dash, headliner, and rest of interior will be cleaned from all the Winter accumulation of body shop dirt and dust. When I pick it up tomorrow, the car will then go to another shop to have rollers-hardware and lubrication in the rear quarter windows.
Hopefully Saturday the Satty will come back home and next week, get the boom mat on the floor, new carpet and the rest of the interior, fit the six way power seat base. Then it will be new rear springs , which I have waiting, and the new Keystone Classic wheels and new tires. ... I love it when a plan comes together, and just in time for Spring weather!....................MO

Lots going on, Steve! Where did you get your new rear springs? I have new Espos waiting for my Satellite to get out of winter storage purgatory.
