The tracks cleaned up nice. Are you reupholstering the seats at the same time?Yesterday I disassembled the bucket seat tracks and cleaned the 40 year old grease off. Took them for powder coating today.
A worthwhile endeavor. I took the tracks to the powder coating company for blasting and satin black paint. The seats were redone with Legendary by the previous owner about 5 or 6 years ago. I took them out to replace the carpet that the body shop damaged by letting water sit until it molded and caused rust issues on the exposed seat parts base, sliders, springs).The tracks cleaned up nice. Are you reupholstering the seats at the same time?
