What did you do to your Mopar today?

I have less gold now...
...but it was worth the EXCELLENT drive!

Was on vacation in St Maarten get gas for rental car watched the price on the pump. Holy crap! it was almost $3 a liter. Laughed and thought of my motto "If you can't afford the price of gas, you shouldn't go on vacation".

Put on lower parts of kick down linkage. Checked to make sure driveshaft went into new trans bushing. It was a little harder but that's good. I use a 2" pipe cap to put rear seal in, no where to be found. $6 at Home D.

WENT FOR A DRIVE

Cleaned her up for the first show of the season and the first one since my dad passed. Going to be hard, but I know he’s smiling down on me and my son carrying on the tradition. Love you dad.

Oh HELL NO!! You can't leave us hanging as to what's in the crate BDF6!! :praying:
It's a Father's Day suprise for my dad (& me).
He was always disappointed in the 80's rebuild he got on his 440 so I'll pull it & build it right. In the meantime I don't want any down time so I'll put this 522 in it

to make his dream come true!
When the #'s 440 is done I may put the 522 in my Willys. I plopped a 440/727 in it years ago so it's set up for it already.

It's nice to have options

I am saddened to hear of your father passing, Paul!
I must've been posting while you did & didn't realize what I had posted about Father's Day was right under your post.
THIS is exactly why I am doing what I am with the car now. I want to do something for my dad while he's still here. Those type of posts & 'tribute' builds got me thinking how short time left with my father is...
Enjoy your fathers, THEN your cars fellas!

Yesterday put in rear trans seal. Removed trans shift lever and wire from neutral safety switch. Cleaned around shift lever shaft with a little scotch pad. Today installed driveshaft. Sure is tight working with exhaust pipe removing shift lever an NSS wire.

Shot from the show this weekend. Placed top 50 again! Was super surprised that here in Ford/Chevy country a Mopar won 1st place! Sweet Road Runner!
