What did you do to your Mopar today?

Dusted it (since last Saturday I washed it) applied Maguire's yellow liquid carnauba wax with a Ryobi battery powered random orbital buffer I bought over a year ago and just used today for the first time. It works GREAT! I still have to detail the wheels and tires, vacuum and dust/clean the interior, apply protectant to the interior, check my valve cover bolts and apply protectant to the vinyl roof.

Lots going on, Steve! Where did you get your new rear springs? I have new Espos waiting for my Satellite to get out of winter storage purgatory.
Got my springs from a long time spring manufacturer" Linale Spring" In Omaha, Ne. Quality stuff and he makes them just the way you want. I doubt that anyone can beat his price.............................MO

Well I really like the LOOK of Maguire's "Ultimate Protectant" in the black spray bottle, that's what I use on my dash, vinyl, and leather if I had leather, BUT when the roof gets damp from dew or rain the Ultimate Protectant streaks the glass and paint with residue. Doesn't damage or discolor anything, but it has to be cleaned off, SO NOW I use Maguire's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer. The rep told me about it when I sang the praises of the Ultimate Protectant but bemoaned the streaking issue.

Just received my A/C kit from Original Air. Now gotta find someone to help install it.:)

Put in valve body today. Was having trouble yesterday, PM'd DVW for some advice and it worked perfect. :thankyou: Put on shift lever and throttle pressure lever. Throttle pressure lever was a bit of a bear to tighten, can't see nut. Installed neutral safety switch and filter.

I'd say no, mine were taped over from factory. I added sockets and bulbs. Mines a 66 but I think all were like that. JMO.

Mine has both, no tape that I remember. Remember anything is possible.

Not much room!!! Did u readjust the bands while in there?

No. If I put 5k more miles on it in my life I'll be happy. No more long treks, 400 miles to Niagara Falls or things like that.

Put on trans pan, but it didn't go smooth. corner of filter was bent a little. First blamed new pan. Cleaned up original pan for atrial fit same thing, tweeked filter a c-hair good to go.
Even remembered to wire throttle pressure control lever a the way back. Tomorrow set linkage on rear carb and crawl back under to remove wire.
No more neck snapping shifts every time. Manual shift vb's tough on neutral safety switches, killed 2 in 15k miles.

Last two days I have been changing the rear springs on my 1968 Satellite -Roadrunner tribute project. The U bolt nuts are a real pain in the a**, or I should say mouth as the extension on the breaker bar slipped off and whacked myself twice. Left a bruise. One parking brake cable has to be replaced tomorrow and I hope a spare from the 64 Dodge will interchange.
My hands ache from the heavy wrenching. Guess I'm not a kid anymore..........................MO

Cut off wheel on the u-bolts would save ya a bunch of trouble, not to mention a self *** kicking.

...or a nut splitter.

U-bolt nuts are a pain. I don't use air tools much but u-bolts are an exception.
