drove it to work, got bugs splattered on it, it got dirty...washed it and put it away for another day.

Cleared all the stacked up crap from on top, pulled the blankets off, took the hood off and dropped the front down to ride height on jack stands. Now it's ready for me to get busy for the summer doing bodywork and paint/electrical, as soon as the front end is all together.

What's the two circles about?

Was considering placing the PCV directly to the intake, still undecided so I asked them to mark where it should be done if I do go that route. Will have to take it to a local machine shop which should not be to difficult.

Had to do it all by yourself? Poor baby!

Changed oil, greased, wiped down underside around engine - transmission, and checked things over. First time on the 1968 Satty. Pleased to see all front suspension parts are near new. Also pleased to see that the previous owner did quality work. When he put new gaskets and seals in the engine, he also installed new rubber motor mounts....................MO

How bout some more details, what did they do with it? Looks great!

What they call competition porting, this option they work within the casting and properly size to your specific needs. everything from the carb pad to the intake flange will be gone over.

In '04 I had a 383 built up (blueprinted) as bracket racer, M1 intake with a large roller cam with stock ported heads.
It was eventually put in storage and never used, been trying to give it better street manners over the past year or so and it's working out pretty well.
It now has a less aggressive cam profile but still a roller with over .500 lift.
This will hopefully help regain some top end power (especially with the spacer) but also do what the dual plane does for the street.

Because of the build I was willing to try this out and will try to dyno with the stock RPM intake, the ported RPM intake, and then again with the spacer to compare.
Time and cost will of course factor into all that somehow....

Installed some new steelies and tires hit Mopar night at the local cruise last night and then got up today and made the hour drive to a large cars and coffee show in Orange county.

Car ran great with no issues

Car is looking good! Curious what you finally found out to get it running again?

Thanks, I ended up ditching the MSD ignition and went back to stock electronic with orange box.

I went through the entire engine bay and never found any shorts or bad wiring. I did locate a loose charging wire on the alternator and replaced the voltage regulator at the same time to make sure I wasn't sending too much voltage through the ignition.

As soon as I installed the orange box the car ran awesome, drove it about 100 miles today and sat in an hours worth of stop and go traffic on the 5 south and it ran perfect. Really happy to be back on the road!

spent a good chunk of the day fitting on the doors
came to the conclusion that i will need to use the die grinder
and a few shims to get it where I'm satisfied.
