Went for a 20 mile drive. Hate those 4.10 gears.
Looks good. Was there a star type washer between the vent bolt & and the brass connector? Mine didn’t have one, haven’t seen another one with, but star type washer is shown in fastener guide. Mines a 69 but should be the same......just curious....thks JimFinally found my brakes lines and can get started getting them shortened 3" on each side . . .
Spent a good hour trying to clean off all the crud all over everything - you can actually see that the part is BRASS ! ! !

Thanks 5.7......I agree with u & appreciate the response....I’ll have to hunt one down....just another one of those things as it isn’t listed or shown in the 69 parts manual either....but I can see what appears to be star type impressions in the brass...Thanks again JimShould have that washer, otherwise the bolt can back out.

My '62 had a paper gasket under the block and a star washer on top.
How old is that hose?
Awesome car!!!Started taking things apart to pull the hemi for a refresh this winter.

Love the tennis ball idea. You know how many times I hit that latch? It's usually when I'm showing it off to someone and then I can sit there like an idiot rubbing my head.Started taking things apart to pull the hemi for a refresh this winter.

That has to be one of the nicest SFC installs I've ever seen.Disconnected everything from the trans, removed the driveshaft hoop, driveshaft, exhaust, and e brake hardware in preparation to pull out the motor and trans.
