What did you do to your Mopar today?

Finally found my brakes lines and can get started getting them shortened 3" on each side . . .

Spent a good hour trying to clean off all the crud all over everything - you can actually see that the part is BRASS ! ! !

Looks good. Was there a star type washer between the vent bolt & and the brass connector? Mine didn’t have one, haven’t seen another one with, but star type washer is shown in fastener guide. Mines a 69 but should be the same......just curious....thks Jim

Should have that washer, otherwise the bolt can back out.

Thanks 5.7......I agree with u & appreciate the response....I’ll have to hunt one down....just another one of those things as it isn’t listed or shown in the 69 parts manual either....but I can see what appears to be star type impressions in the brass...Thanks again Jim

Dropped my radiator into a specialist shop for a re-core and to get a mount fitted to run an electric pusher fan. Not sure that the clutch fan is doing enough....playing it safe now. :) Pictures when it's done....mmmkay.

My '62 had a paper gasket under the block and a star washer on top.

Don't recall the paper washer . . . but I do on the star washer . . . will hunt for it too and investigate the paper washer as well . . .

How old is that hose?

Awww . . . it's "only" 51 years old . . .

. . . Good Point . . . . Good Suggestion ! ! ! Thanks ! ! !

I had confirmation that my headliner that I have been waiting for, for over a year has finally been made and dispatched. I should have it in a day or two. I hope to God they have made it correctly.

Shot some paint on the rear springs to match the color ( kinda ) of the rear axle . . .

Disconnected everything from the trans, removed the driveshaft hoop, driveshaft, exhaust, and e brake hardware in preparation to pull out the motor and trans.
