What did you do to your Mopar today?

What better time than a shutdown week to borrow the spray booth at work to finally get the steelies done the right way. Had them blasted to bare metal, after that I etch primed, filler primed, 3 coats of Shop-Line JB MM1 Turbine Bronze base (Ditzler 60492), 3 coats of Shop-Line JC630 polyurethane clear and voila, lookin better than ever. Bought a new inexpensive hvlp gun for this job. Worked out great. Do you need to spend a lot on a high end gun to get really nice results? No. If I ran a shop that I relied on my gun to earn a living? Then yes. All depends on your situation.

There's other front anti sway bars that bend over the brace. ADDCO comes to mind but Hotchkiss seems to be the only one that goes under causing issues with parking blocks and dips in the road. @Dennis H has the same problem. Hotchkiss told him to flip the bar, IIRC.

Completed the last of the sound deadner install.

Then I added vapor barrier to the doors.
Man, that's so clean and nice it could be the inside of an operating room! Well Done!

Coated the bottom of my 70 RR with POR-15 today so I can undercoat tomorrow. Warning!!!! Don’t get that **** on you, even with latex gloves I still managed to get it on me. F!!ck.

Thanks Hsorman...trust me with all the measuring, cutting, trimming, checking, putting glue down....I'm happy it's done.
Trust me - I've been there. It's a pain in the arse! However, you won't regret it. It will make the cabin on your Road Runner a nice place to be - all the sound deadening is well worth it!

Replaced my turn signal switch with a repop from Vans. I really wish they made parts that worked out of the box. Two wires are the wrong color.( Lt Gr was Blk w/ Gr tracer, Lt Brn is Gray). The pivot end slot is not big enough for the turn signal stalk so the slot had to be dremeled open. Finally the cancel mechanism is different and wasn't made to hand cancel so I relieved the sharp catch so it can be cancelled by hand as well as by the wheel.

The '72 Satellite has been parked for months now since I have been restoring the '65 Formula S Barracuda. But I promised myself last night to forestall working on the Barracuda today in lieu of catching up on doing the dishes, pruning some trees in the yard, and washing my "work" clothes. However, I did bend the rules today by removing a left front flat tire on the '65 Valiant Signet convertible and called around to a couple of tire shops trying to find another 185/75-14 tire. All I could find locally is a Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II.
