What did you do to your Mopar today?

Totally worth the price. Nice steering wheels are rare. NOS even more so. That looks fantastic.
Appreciate that. It looks even better in person imo. After looking around just about everywhere I find them posted for sale, one of the nicer ones I've seen were about 3/4's of what this one was and not as nice so I believe I got a decent deal. It was still less expensive than the woodgrain style I was originally going to get for our car so I'm satisfied with it overall.
Guy paid $1225 for a NOS 66/67 woodgrain steering wheel. No other parts.
Whew. I probably would have ended up doing the same later down the road for a 68/69 one. I suppose when I figure in the price of those and this one, I saved about $500 and looking at it that way, it's not so bad lol. I've seen a NOS 68/69 woodgrain for I think $2k or $2500 on here at one time.

I paid $1100 for a 69 GTX grill off of ebay. Put a bid in thinking it was going to go for more. It didn't. But damn they are hard to find and impossible in NOS. I would pay as much for a new woodgrain steering wheel.

There's a 69 gtx grill on marketplace for $350 right now that needs restored but doesn't appear damaged. Also an amateur restored wood wheel up in Canada for $500(not sure if USD or CAD - if CAD that's about $370 US). Can PM links if interested.

It has taken 12 years to get around to doing this......I started on re-setting the quarter windows correctly. Started on the driver side first, and it was easier to get at in my garage space. After much research and finally locating a great Vendor, I have the glass setting butyl tape, and a few other goodies to make my doors how they should be.
A really messy job...possibly the dirtiest job you can do on a car....that butyl tape and kerosene really gets into the hands nice. :p

I followed the pictures from @dadsbee as well as watching a YouTube clip from Australia....

The guy that owned the car before me liked to black stuff out with spray paint. Used some aircraft remover trying to not buy another set of 68 road runner turn signals. White residue is giving me hell but they cleaned up a bit. Might still have to buy a set if I can't get it off all the way.

I have the dash back in my '64 Polara, so I was upside-down on my back hooking up wiring for the car. I added Vintage Air, so I have more wiring there to get everything running. My old back can only take so much of this at a time. I want to get this out this spring.

Some white caulking will fix that right up.

Checking out what I'm into with the axle swap. Yes, how I still check "gap" !

Amazing how much wheel well there is on these '64's. These tires are Cooper Cobra P275's. Once I put the narrower '67 rear axle housing in I could put 295's in here without issue.
