I smashed my bony *** elbow on a doorframe a couple of days ago. Been killing me ever since. Pretty sure the tippity tip of the elbow bone chipped off and is floating around...occasionally stabbing me and it hurts like hell.:cursin::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Be careful with bone chips. A good friend of mine had a chip in his hip area, the doctor said it will be OK. It wasn't. Went into the joint and ruined it. This was back in the infancy of hip replacement so they fused his hip joint! Full torso cast for 6 months. That was bad enough, but the fusion didn't work and they repeated the whole process.

Ouch! Done that before too....and you might should go get it checked out.

Monday during a rain storm, I happened to step into our back bedroom and heard a tap, tap, tap on the ceiling.

Oh, ****.....

Went up into the attic, and yep- rain leaking in.

I must have heard the very first drops to come in.
(what are the odds)

Yesterday during a break in the rain, I went up on the roof and found the 40 foot long vent, made of yard sign quality plastic with nails that were a bit too short, was missing the three end shingles from one end and the exposed plastic had cracked down the middle.

Armed with a replacement shingle, some "regular" nails that were twice as long, a hammer, pliers, and roofing tar, I got it back together.

...but I'm not at all comfortable knowing that the remaining 38 feet is built the same way, and we're not through hurricane season yet.

Got pissed off! I've been battling to get caught up on choirs then I see this.. I have spring water and this WAS a sediment separater!!! That mossy chunk laying 6' away is the concrete lid, probably 25-35 lbs.

My brother has a few paths through my woods that already channel enough water to wreak havoc on my property/driveway but now someone went several feet off coarse and obliterated the clay tile... More work for me!

All finished (lid not installed).
