What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

You're hanging drywall with a crane?
If it would fit inside to make things easier i would of.The crane was for the rafters in the building stages this spring. We used the skyjack to put up the 4x12 sheets up for the vaulted ceiling

Well after putting it off for the last 15 years, I finally built the support bracing under the stairs going up to my loft! I am giving the garage a major cleaning and after removing a mountain of parts and tools from under the stairs I figured that there would be no better time to finally get it done. I used pressure treated 4x4s to build it. No more bouncing going up and down the stairs when lugging parts!

I've heard many say over the years that the headlights were placed on the wrong end of those lol. A neighbor down the street from one of the places I lived as a kid had one. They always looked a bit strange to me even back then but wouldn't mind having one now! 49 Starlight Coupe? Yeah, I looked it up and typed in 1950 for my first search. The street I lived on back then was 55.....and very few that lived on that street could afford to buy a car new and the people that owned the Stude didn't drive it very much.

Helping my folks pour their basement. Big event today. House is built waiting to move in. Big project for Dad. Helped him a couple days but this was his project.

Bought a Craftsman air compressor.
I bought one new in the box at an auction and sold it on CL. It was pretty old, but brand new. It seized up on the guy right away, but he wouldn't take his money back.
Saw one on CL this morning for $50, bought it, and I plan to deliver it this afternoon.

I sold the first one to him cheap since I bought it cheap and didn't want it taking up space. It bothered me. Golden Rule, but I'm keeping the hose. Can never have too many hoses.

Continued on the clean up of the garage! The Jack's and Jack stands now occupy the space under the stairs instead of a pile of old car parts and broken tools. Cleaned up another area in the back. I am considering getting another storage lift to go in this section.

Screw all this hard manual labor! Let’s sit down and do a little benchrest shooting! With computerized scoring. No room for error anywhere. Scoring is “worst edge”.
