The Yankees are in town (not my town, but playing my team...die-hard A's since I was a kid...yeah, I know they suck these days!) for a 4-game run so we caught the game last night. Da Judge crushed one but at least my guys kept it close...unlike Thursday's game! We have pretty good seats and it's always a good time.

Dug two holes for 3 gallon plants. Planted Kramer's Supreme Camellia and Camellia Shishi Gashira for Mrs. DeltaV. Gifts from me.

Delivered some poison to the fire ant interlopers.

Not sure what I'll do next. Maybe restock the compost barrel.

Yesterday I went over to a buddies house to help him figure out what was wrong with a lawn mower motor. He got the 3 year old mower from a neighbor whose husband passed away over a year ago. This guy isn't up on motors but he did a pretty decent job except for getting the head bolt spacers mixed up and ended up punching holes in the intake runner. It's made of plastic. Anyways, compression was very low and turns out the rings were stuck....probably from old gas. Everything else looked good.

Spent a few hours over there working on it and talking then came home, ate lunch and then did some badly needed weed eating. Been getting some showers and the stuff is growing. Did about 75% of it and hung it up. Glad it was good and cloudy and even had some good thunder boomers. Must have been close because I heard it over the weed eater 'moder' and the wearing of ear plugs.
