What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Road trip with the Wife, to grab her new car that she missed 3 years ago. She saw it prepaint and wanted it, but it got sold out from under her. It got traded in last week and she grabbed it quick... well I did, but you know the story! LOL

1967 Barracuda Formula S. Factory 383 x 4 barrel.. 4 speed. #'s Alberta car. Zero metal work ever, showing 3200 miles and change on the odometer but possibly rolled back. I need to get further into it to come to a conclusion on that, but I'd say it's damn close to a #1.

First in line at the Polling booth, and when I came out there were about 20 people waiting.

85 is the high today with 0% rain chance.

Two days ago it was 82 with 90% humidity.
Let me tell ya, even that was oppressive!

Visited the Oracle at Delphi in Greece. (Photos don't seem to load. I'll post them when I return.)

Yes, that is a FABO hat that I am wearing.

Missed taking the Wife out to drive her new Formula S, as instead I had to put a crack in the earth and help #1 Son wire up another antenna after using "John" to plant the pole last night.. Now it's threatening to rain...

I started this project a few years ago when I found a mid 60's pedal car at the scrap metal recyclers. It was raining today and I had nothing to do so I dragged it out of the corner and blew it apart for paint. I'm going to leave the patina alone and paint the "interior" with some roll on bedliner. The blackout hood isn't working for me so I'll dust on some off-white paint and distress it a little bit. I'm going to use an old headrest off the GTX for a seat back and make a cushion for the seat. Next summer my grandson will be rolling around the car shows in style...

I went into a BEVMO store today, the first time in my life, to buy myself some bottles of Napa Valley, Chardonnay wine, to celebrate me getting down to 185 pounds from, 230, since early April.
45 pounds in 6 1/2 months.

Edit.
I drank half the bottle of that wine last night, here at home, and got a bit drunk doing it. lol.

Did some cleaning up, rearranging and gettin rid of......and this.....roof from a 67 Coronet. At one time I had the thought about lowering the roof of my Belvedere a couple of inches but thought better of it. It's been in my trailer for several years and well, time for it to go but took the skin off so I'll have some metal to use on my car if needed which I need a little bit and dang skin isn't light lol. Cut up the roof frame to make it easier to handle and load on the truck when the time comes.

Finishing up the rebuilding of single piston brake calipers, for the A, B, E, body line of cars.
Waiting on the rebuild kits, from Rock Auto, to get here.

Moved my bottle cart into the 'store room' in the house. It also holds my plasma cutter and tubing bender....which has never been used but hopefully soon. Still have the X's computer desk to move out of that room. It's kinda junky because she liked to do her nails on it so there's that mess. Used to be kinda nice being a light color oak. May just bust it up and bring it out in pieces and add it to the burn pit now that the weather has been cool and nobody wants it.
