The weather was mild here today, so I decided to wash the garage floor. I had made quite a mess tearing down the 400. Everything is at the machine shop now, so the timing was great. Now I have to load all the equipment back in.

Here in Sacramento, CA. we have a "miniature" San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge, Named the Guy West Bridge, over the American River, by the Sacramento State University.
Before the nasty weather comes in tonight, i took my daily walking on the American River Trail getting my exercise, and keeping by weight down.

Had a big tree job end of the week. They were about 40-45 feet tall. Had to dismember them and rope them to pull them down as they were between two houses and next to a fence. Got 16 down and now in the clear from houses and fences! For those who do this kind of work the GOOD thing was NOTHING DAMAGED. Weather won't allow me to finish the last 6.

Drove to Bend, OR to pick up this 12' cedar strip canoe built by the gentleman on the right. We (I) will hang it on the great room wall opposite the wife's 6' windmill. Anything is art if you hang it on the wall (Sara vetoed hanging my 85 Kawasaki GPz750 up there - that would've been bitchin'!).

Currently chopping a 67 El Camino. Practicing on it before I touch the only 72 GMC truck I could find. It's my buddies 60th on Saturday, that I haven't seen in over 30 years. Trying to make a gift to replicate his truck we chopped together when he was 15 and me 17.

Sorry to hear that Mike. My biggest fear is as I get older is cancer from being a commercial grape grower for over 25 years. The tons and gallons of chemicals I sprayed that are now banned to use these days. Take care and hoping for the best for you.
